Why it could be lowest score? We have been travelling and wanted to stay at the Hotel with proper spa. Sweet Atlantic Hotel & Spa does have good spa, with pool, Dry Sauna and Turkish sauna. I knew that for Spa we need to pay extra, which is fine, it was mentioned in description. What was NOT mentioned is that you need to book the specific hour to go there, as they have limitations (understandable, not to get crowded). We have stayed just 1 night, when we arrived we have been told that it is already pretty full, and availability only for the next morning, which was not acceptable for us. The lady from Spa - Elizabete Azevedo, understood the frustration and helped us to get into the spa at the proper time that we wanted. Once again, management if you read this message! Notify guests about the need to book spa for a specific hour, put it in description and in automatic message. And once again, give this Spa lady bonus or rise, otherwise you would get horrible review at Booking and complain in Livro dos Reclamacoes (complains book).

Great room, amazing view, balcony. Great staff, especially the lady from Spa - Elizabete Azevedo (if manager reads it, give this lady bonus or salary raise), thanks to her I am leaving good review about the Hotel, instead it could be the lowest. Nice location, good quality of the rooms and hotel. Great spa with Pool, Dry Sauna and Turkish sauna.

Nothing that I did not like as such.

I booked a sea view suite and a twin room. Both had the best views and the rooms have been designed at their best. The facilities in the room are much more than expected which make the room special indeed. I would definitely recommend Sweet Atlantic Hotel to anyone who visits Figueira da Foz.

A bit of noise from other rooms and streets, even with double-glazed windows. The room/bathroom was a bit outdated. Floor and bath with evident signs of use

Beachfront view; The Wide view from the windows is a perfect spot to relax. Spacious room. Corridors with vintage carpets but very comfortable for walking and noise absortion.

We were in a ‘romantic suite’ I would have expected robes in the room for comfort while there. There was No extrator fan in the bathroom, so what happened in the bathroom sadly smells either lingered into the bedroom or were trapped in the bathroom. The shower was an over bath shower with mixer taps, I would have expected a bit more upmarket showering facilities. There was a balcony on the room with view of the sea (and the hotel roof) but no chairs to sit on to enjoy a drink . The Indian restaurant attached to the hotel was closed during our stay which was upsetting as we had looked forward to eating there but ended up in a Italian / pizza restaurant (not in the same class)

The hotel was clean & very comfortable, the room was excellent with good facilities, the massage spa was brilliant with very caring helpful staff

Everything was good.

We liked the beachfront location with our large (upgraded) room and its balcony. The beds were exceptionally comfortable with good quality linen. The kettle and minibar were welcome features. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.

Everything was good and great value for money. Spacey room, good air conditioning etc. Everything was good. One downside was the pool/spa. Not worth the money we spent on it. But I see it as an optional extra.

We really enjoyed time in hotel. The staff was very welcoming and they upgraded the room. The ocean view room on the 11th floor was amazing with panoramic windows with an stunning view. We used the room service. The peculiarity of the hotel is the most delicious smell shampoo of all hotels in my life. Ever. And the best recommendation is that we stayed the second night because we didn't want to leave the place. Thank you. ❤️

Well....the spa is lovely and very relaxing, but it needs a makeover, which I mentioned at checkout, only to be told it's closing in a month for a complete renovation. Yes, the WiFi wasn't great and they charge you for teabags, but looking at the bigger picture, this is a place that knows how to please its customers.

Great stay! What is there not to like! Friendly, helpful staff, lovely rooms, great views, on the beach, central to everything, the list goes on....

Well, although there was a restaurant at the hotel, we had difficulty in getting a table, directly from the restaurant. It was either closed or opened but no one around. We managed to eat there one evening.

We loved the location and view from our room on the 10th floor. The receptionists, as we met different ones each time we need to ask a question, have excellent service!

For us the beds too high and difficult to get on. We were with three people and third person slept on the couch but this was very hard and not wide enough. The white turning chairs in the breakfast area are way too low and heavy.

Enjoyed the view of the ocean from our room with an outside patio. Also enjoyed all of the windows in the two room suite. Breakfast was good and typical of what you would expect from a European buffet breakfast. Location right across from beach was convenient.

Spa at 15€ is a bit steep so we didn't bother.

Big airy rooms, great location, good staff and a lot better than expected after reading all the negative comments. Yes the hotel is slightly dated but rooms clean and it's a great location. We didn't bother with the spa as the beach is just outside.

Could have a a bit of a friendlier atmosphere...nobodies fault really...also no real information as to what to do in the town and when I asked about parking was told the hotel was full....so had to fend for myself which is ok but not sure where safe places to park etc.

Nice hotel...clean and functional but no bar to speak of....breakfast good and the Indian restaurant attached to hotel is nice.

A bit odd that I wasn't able to find tissues even in the restaurant. There was one napkin per person provided during breakfast time. WiFi coverage and speed could be better.

We spent 2 nights in the property during our trip across Portugal. Check-in/out was easy and prompt, not an issue. However, the hotel requires some renovation and decoration I would say. I had a feeling that I was trapped in 1990th… Nevertheless, the room was tidy and spacious. The bathroom facility is better than expected. The breakfast meal variety was modest but worth its value. Hotel’s staff was supportive and did their best to accommodate requests if any.

Windows could be a bit cleaner.

The views were incredible. Big room with furniture in good condition.Mine was a suite with sea views. If I ever go to Figueira I would stay in this hotel. Excellent value for your money.

- The fact that we had to pay to use the indoor swimming pool. It was an information that was given, but I don’t agree very much. As well, prior to the reservation, I told them that we were going there to celebrate my sister’s birthday and they didn’t answer or cared about it. Not that this changes my evaluation, but I think hotels can stand out in these small details.

- Bedroom very clean, spacious and with amazing views. - The breakfast had very good quality. - Staff friendly.
