Everything, clear specious rooms, good breakfast. Welcoming staff. On day we arrived safe in our room was taken to maintenance and person already left to home. On our request , safe was installed on same day , so person returned back and installed it. 👍

The bed was a little bit hard and made some noises, but that was totally okay, because the hotel itself (even though it is directly in the city center) was very quiet.

The staff was very kind! We directly felt welcome and the staff was really supportive in any requests - they even did some kind of "lunchpackage" when we could not make it to the breakfast. The rooms were clean and modern, we really appreciated the location of the hotel, as it is directly in the city of Funchal and you can walk everything you need to see in the city.

The coffee at breakfast was grim, no matter how we tried to circumvent what came out of the machine. The very thin toilet paper is probably the thinnest we have ever had to use.

Our room with a seaview (on the 6th floor) exceeded our expectations. It was spacious and comfortable: we particularly liked the large balcony with a table and two chairs where we read, enjoyed a drink and could people watch. Every member of staff was warm, happy to help, and professional. Choices available at breakfast were excellent and constantly replenished. The hotel is an easy walk to a number of the sights and a wide choice of restaurants. The roof terrace is a plus: a small plunge pool in which to cool off; loungers, deckchairs and a choice of tables and chairs; a bar serving drinks and snacks with a smile!

I’m not too sure if there was room service. I couldn’t see any literature in the room for it. Otherwise I didn’t have any issue.

It was a nice location in the hotel on an upper floor. Good view and relaxing atmosphere. The people at the front desk were very helpful when I needed directions. Ok the whole a very pleasant experience. Thank you.

The WiFi in the rooms was very patchy but worked fine in common areas. The buffet breakfast had a lot of choice but would benefit from different breakfast specials for variety.

Staff were exceptionally kind to my wife and father-in-law, particularly Luis. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. There was very little external noise and did not interrupt sleep at all. The rooftop swimming pool, though small, is in a nice space with views of the city. There's a large supermarket, shops and plenty of restaurants within a short walk of the hotel.

Nothing I loved every min of our stay

Beautiful hotel. Great location, first of all, walking distance from everywhere. If you like jogging, this is the hotel for you because it's not fat from the promenade. Madeira is not renowned for its beaches; however, the hotel has a pool on the top floor with a great restaurant right next to it. Don't forget to pack your swimming gear. Rooms are modern and clean, plus they have big balconies to sit outside with a glass of vino. Staff were amazing, and the breakfast was also nice. Buffet but lovely 😍

The rooftop swimming pool is quite small - did ot use it due to the poor weather, the terrasse was closed. Having to pay extra 15€ per day for parking means that parking is not a feature of the hotel; you can find cheaper parking for 2,50e a day 8min walk away.

Great location near the old town, everything is easily accessible by foot. Very helpful staff and large, comfortable rooms.
