The check-in was a bit confusing because the hotel was closed and no one was there, so I had to call them and wait, but shortly after my call the owner came and opened for me.

Absolutely everything, the location is ideal, the room was spotless and comfortable. The manager was very helpful and the breakfast was excellent, one of the best I've ever had. Overall, it was fantastic value for money

There is a bar at the hotel, but I guess it was closed for the season, being January. For the rest, no complaints!

The room was spotlessly clean. Bravo to the cleaning staff! The bed was big and comfortable, plenty of covers, and pillows. Bathroom was very clean, and had nice toiletries. The check in process was very easy. Staff very nice. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. The hotel is very close to the beach and only a block away from restaurants, bars, stores. Everything exceeded my expectations. One thing to note, is the room looks bigger on the website, but was fine, and we had plenty of room to feel comfortable.

On-site parking was a bit expensive for what it offered and difficult to navigate due to the narrowness of the driveway and lack of space. This is the only thing that we didn't like. If we visit again, we will rethink how we arrive at the property.

This property is truly charming and very tastefully done, with each guest's personal comfort in mind. The rooms are very nicely done, with modern bathrooms, beautifully embroidered towels, and bed linens. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the toiletries are wonderfully fragrant (hints of sandalwood?) and gentle on your skin and hair. Even the toilet tissue is of good quality. The breakfast surpassed our expectations and was very satisfying! Irina was working when we visited. She is an impressive, hard-working, highly efficient woman who remembers each guest's preferences. She made our experience better than we expected, and we are most appreciative!

The breakfast was same everyday

The property was 100metres by the ocean & highstreet walk! The staff were lovely and helpful. Mohammed in breakfast area was absolutely a gem!

Key card system was broken and annoying. Cards didn't work and emitted a series of beeps when they malfunctioned. Room was way too close to the reception desk and front entrance. At times this was very loud - like when large groups congregated in the reception area (see also malfunctioning card comment). Room was smallish, pillows were uncomfortable, bathroom towels could stand a replacement and shower leaked when being used. A/C doesn't appear to function or have a fan setting and room was fairly warm. Would have opened the window but the close proximity to the nightlife of Praia da Rocha on a weekend, made this impossible. Could be a lovely place if you could just fix the issues

The gentleman who took care of us was outstanding. Very helpful at check in and seemed to care about our stay. He also did breakfast in the morning which was perfect and delicious. He was the best part of our stay. Beds were comfy. Location was a quick walk to the water and many of the diversions of Praia da Rocha. Parking for a small fee was definitely welcome. A great value due to time of year.

The TV had a glitch at the both of the screen, which was a bit annoying so we didn’t really use it. The lady who checked us in was a bit grumpy to start with but warmed up to us after the first day.

The male owner is lovely and couldn’t do enough to look after us at breakfast and during our stay. Really beautiful place and well decorated to a high standard.

There was a bit confusion when we arrived about where to store our bicycles. I called before booking if they had a space to store them but upon arrival Anna made a bit of a fuss about this and wanted us to leave them outside by the front door. After calling her boss it was quickly solved and our bikes were securely stored in the back room.

Really nice property just one block from the beach and the restaurants. Interior is very nicely done and the breakfast was fabulous. Comfortable beds and when we stayed there we didn’t have any noise from the nearby cafes.

I didn't like that there was no fridge in the room and the hairdryer was very poor. And that you could hear the loud music till 3 am .

I believe the parking may be in the street only, which we managed to find but did have to do a little checking that we were allowed to park where we had. The rooms also do not have kettles but otherwise it was perfect!

The location is perfect. Its just a street away from the main restaurants and bars strip but it doesn't feel loud. The rooms was clean and very comfortable and the staff were lovely. The breakfast in particular was brilliant - fresh juice, a large platter of fruit, yoghurt, cheese and meat, eggs and bags to order, pancakes brought to your table and your choice of lovely breads - all served directly!
