How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The floors are really hear-through, I heard both next door neighbors walking around very prominently.

We had to wait almost 1hr for our room to be ready. Small room for breakfast.
The receptionist were really nice and after we came back from the beyonce concert they gav us sausage which was so nice. Breakfast really nice.

There was a little bit dusty in our room but otherwise clean and nice room.
The staff in the reception were amazing! Very helpfull and made us feel welcomed. Metro station really close and a supermarket.

The hotel is quite worn, especially for the price range. Everything is just old starting from furniture ending with poor quality bedding and towels. The overall atmosphere is somehow uneasy and cold.

The htl is “I want to be a Best Western” one chair as you see in the pic is broken. I arrived at 10:30 PM and I got the instruction how to enter after I called. On a table was an envelope with my name; inside 2 cards, not a letter, nothing, no htl rules, breakfast times, check out time. I had to call as the tv was not working and I no cattle and no bar. I got myself the tv fix. Morning went to breakfast a lady was behind the “reception” table at a computer: dirty plates and rest of other breakfast were on all the tables, I move something to have the space to have my breakfast. When I come back my keys were not working… same every day and nobody was at the hotel, not even at 7pm so I had to call and they will instructing me from remote how to get the pass… every days. A guy was the only cleaning the table and he worked 2 days during my stay. This morning the white bread had a slice full of mol, colour green… I stay 1-2 times a year in Stockholm in “… by Best Western” but this was really bad. Further the cleaning lady wake me up on Friday at 8:18 Am and I got the instruction to use the do not disturb card.:: but in that way they did not clean the room until Saturday I choose an htl as travelling alone I like to have a little talk with the reception but this was a ghost htl

The rooms I stayed in was quite big but the bath area is too compact. The wifi was weak. The breakfast was a disappointment for me since I am vegetarian. Other than bread butter jam fruits and cornflakes there was nothing else. The location is a big big problem because mainly they don't have the name mentioned anywhere on the building. I got to know from the staff that they have changed the name but that hasn't been changed on booking.com. so it's extremely difficult to locate the hotel. Google map takes you correctly but you dont find the name so its confusing. I had to call them to locate it. But good part is there are buses and trams available just 2 mins walk away. Special mention for the staff though. They are very welcoming and helping. 5 stars for them. Specially the gentleman on duty on 28th morning. :)

We had booked a room for 3 people, but upon arrival there was only one set of towels and one bed was not made. Staff did not understand English very well, so the issue was fixed with somewhat problematically.
Location close to Friends Arena, walkable distance. Good stay for going to a concert. Comfortable spacious room.

I loved everything! The staff was super nice, the breakfast was good too, always fresh. The room was clean and it was the same one that we saw on the photo when we booked. The beds and the pillows were very comfortable, there was always hot water to take a shower. We didn't hear any noise from our neighbours. I was worried about our check-in since we arrived very late in Stockholm, but Lovis, from the hotel staff, was always responsive to my messages and gave me the necessary instructions to enter. Thanks a lot Lovis! The hotel is near the Friends Arena, so it was perfect since we went to a concert. The cutest part was when we got back late that night and the staff welcomed us with hotdogs :)
