No surprises. Standard quality for this price level. I stayed one night and I was happy with this hotel. There is nothing to complain about and nothing to praise either. The biggest plus for me was the location. The neighbourhood is quiet, and it's easy to access the highway from the hotel.

The guy at the reception looked almost unhappy about us checking in and he wasn't too friendly or overly helpful. The location of the hotel has positive and negative sides, we used the car to go to the city center for dinner or exploring the city but on the other hand we were on the road quickly when we went out for day trips.

The room had everything we needed. Space for our suitcase, a twin bed, a bathroom and a toilette. The breakfast was really nice and well worth the money.

Bed were narrow. I probably overlooked that aspect when (rapidly) booking the room for our visit.

It was the coldest actual room I've ever stayed in (coming from a northern dane), even though it wasn't even freezing outside most of the time. We had to keep 2-3 layers + ski underpants and double wool socks at all times, which is obviously not ideal for a couples vacation. Kept waking up with a running nose, and my lips were cracked after the first night. Contacted the staff, but they just said they would check it out and, as far as I could tell, did nothing

5 minute walk from the tram into the city, alternatively 2-3km walk to the city center. Really cheap and nice "Bennes pasta" nearby. Tea in the room.

The rooms are basic and a little dated, but still clean and functional.

The location - we needed somewhere to stay so that we could catch an early flight the next day. Easy access to the highway, and a 15-20 mn drive to then airport. We were given a packed breakfast due to our early departure, which was an unexpected bonus! Staff were also lovely.

Everywhere in the hotel was a bit dark ... not only the furnishings and wood, but even the light bulbs were all dim so not great for poor eyesight. The rooms were on the chilly side even though we turned the radiator up as far as we could though once in bed it was ok. The wall mounted tv was small so for those with poor eyesight, like myself, was of no use at all. There was only a teeny tiny shelf for toiletries in the bathroom so most had to be kept in the bedroom. The absolute worst thing though was in the shower. The drain cover stuck to the bottom of my foot for a few seconds and that was when I saw beneath it .... HORRIBLE ... dirt and hair and god only knows what. Who knows when it was cleaned out .. if ever !!! I replaced the cover and tried not to think about that next time I used it .....

Breakfast was fair with plenty of choice, including cold and a few hot items. There is a lift which was appreciated. The reception staff were friendly as was the guy in the restaurant. The restaurant for dinner was amazing and we all loved our food even though we had different things. Reasonably priced too. Free coffee available in the restaurant during the day if you want it.

An older building. The room sizes were great. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful. We enjoy walking and it is a good 35 minute walk into the centre of the city.

Location is outside the centre, but good connection via tram. Bed could have been a bit bigger for two people.

There was a slight sour smell in the room that we had to open the windows to clear it. Since the room was on the ground floor we couldn't keep them open through the night. Expensive due to very high demand that particular weekend. Understandable.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location, easy to get to both when arriving in Gothenburg, but also when returning after a day on the town.
