buggy to villa situation is a chore and really surprised they designed it with no lobby to villa direct route. In hot humid conditions pre and post dinner, it’s really uncomfortable to have to walk up 4/5 flights of stairs and via a lift to connect the two different buggy routes. Not sure how less able-bodied people would cope. Need to fix this for the premium room type. Didn’t get the turfed area with the sun beds on at the villa. Heavy sun beds (and old) tear up the turf if moved and when it rains the turf turns to mud. Should deck it or similar. Main lobby has no de-stratification fans or A/C - after a long flight you stand there sweating when you need comfort. If fact, it’s uncomfortable all the time, even when just liaising with reception.

Good location - close to action and some great restaurants; but nice quiet if you want to relax. Staff all very nice.

The bathroom shower was in a tub and would spray all over the floor. If an older person would have to step high to get into the tub.

The pools and the breakfast were very good. The shuttle uphill to the rooms. The gym and the location to Patong Beach also close walkable..

Facilities is a bit older and some towers/pillow case got mould and had a musty sell, we used hair dryer to make it dry and hot

The villa location was far away from the lobby and you have to take a shuttle to a drop off and then climb up a flight of stairs / elevator / more stairs to a buggy waiting to take you to the villa. It was hard to get the villa butler on the phone and getting a buggy to go from the villa to the lower levels so we walked out most of the time.

It was a beautiful property and the villa was in an amazing location, nestled right above all of the other rooms with a view of the sunset

It states it’s 5 star but it’s more like 4 star. Had to change rooms as first one we had, no view

I forgot the window open, and three Geckos invited themselves inside the living room, so I didn't enjoy my living room, the walking you need to do is too much from the villa to the lobby to Bangla beach is a pain. not recommended for elders or children

I booked a villa, and I loved the view and privacy, the breakfast was nice and mainly Asian cousin, the staff were great.

I was surprised that some of the staff didn't understand basic English but found that wasn't uncommon outside of the resort as well. ( Its nice to learn about the culture from the locals.) The only other negative was the children that were creating a disturbance at the pool by jumping off the higher steps and platforms without supervision that perhaps could have been spoken to by staff., so as not to disturb everyone else in the pool but I realise that should be the parents job.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed and the products supplied were appreciated. There was a variety of choices at breakfast and a couple of restaurants on-site for dinner. The two pools were great with lots of seating available. The shuttle from the lobby up the steep hills was a great addition as was the complimentary basket of fruit.

No big issues. It’s on the hill so steep paths inside and outside the property.

It’s a large and beautiful resort and very near the road to Patong buzz. But it’s a large property with a lot of green so depending on the position of the room you can hear the noise from the road or from the lobby entrance or have a very quiet hill sighting. Both pools are nice but waterfall poll is wonderful. Good breakfast and the hotel offers many activities.

Stairs - if you have any balance issues or vertigo this is not the place for you. There are many, many, many stairs and often without rails. They do have a shuttle that takes you up and down the property but you will still need to navigate stairs that have no rails throughout the property

We had a beautiful seaview room. Breakfast is amazing and the facilities excellent. The staff are really wonderful! The shuttle was always available to take us to our room so that we did not need to use all those stairs. It was also wonderful to be able to leave our luggage at the hotel after check-out until our transport to the airport arrived. The lounge was available to refresh before our evening flight. We really enjoyed our stay close enough to Patong beach, but out of the really bus area.

Room that we were provided was a bit outdated, but still very beautiful and clean, very spacious, all facilities worked well

More quiet and luxurious part of Patong beach, apart from noisy bars and drunk people. Several upscale restaurant in front of the hotel, with reasonable pricing for location and views. Were upgraded from Deluxe with seaview number to gorgeous Romantic sweet, which made our stay very memorable

More shuttle services to town would be better. The resort is in a great location about 1km from town. A good 20-minute walk to the centre or 5 mins by taxi.

My second stay at this hotel, exceptional service all the way out, beatuiful sunset views, spacious rooms, accomodated all our requests as well, good breakfast options, about 15 min walk to the beach.

The hotel is a bit far from the beach, walking to the beach on the streets which do not have place for pedestrians is somewhat uncomfortable. On the other hand it is that location that keeps the place quiet and enough distanced from the busy area.

Extremely polite and helpful staff, the rooms are big and the sea view from the upper buildings is really nice. It was our second stay in the hotel and it was as good as the first one.

F&B staff looked tired and not always attentive. Appearance of fruits during the breakfasts shall be improved. Taste of noodle soup dropped down (before it was the most tastiest soup in Patong). Check out was slow and a bit of mess.

We were upgraded to the Lux room (probably due to being often guests in the resort). What we really liked: quick check in performed by intern staff; small shuttle buses immediately available to bring you up to the hills; plenty of water in the room; small chocolate hearts from housekeeping; good and timing housekeeping (our room was always cleaned during the first part of the day). We enjoyed our staying and we’re happy to be back to Diamond Cliff😊

Rooms need a bit of refurbish

Remote and yet close to town. The whole setting of the hotel is really nice - sunset from pool and super breakfast.
