How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Unfortunately, on our stay here (start of May) the area was covered in thick smoke, from the seasonal fires. This was a downside to our trip here.
The hotel is a bit outdated, but the staff are really nice and the breakfast buffet varied. Pool also a bit old, but overall ok. Our bed was also massive and the room was cleaned everyday we were there.

The water in swimming pool is not clean ....too much chemical ...and ......not enough filtrate the water through the filtersystem waterpump.

Just recommendations - more fruit and eggs at breakfast, less salad options. Cleaner balcony and maybe 2 seats so could sit out if wanted to. Location was great when we worked out there was a back entrance which makes it short walk to bus station - maybe let people know about this if they are coming from the bus station as we walked all the way round and through another hotel as directions weren't great on Google maps (but might just be us) Aircon was cool but blew at 1 side of the bed so did get abit of a sore throat as like to be cool when sleeping.
Friendly staff, nice room with comfy beds. Charging points around the room. Good shower location was very good and close to everything. Nice pool although didn't use it as was out sight-seeing. Would stay again. Thank you for the stay.

Water was leaking out from the shower (near the doors). It would be nice to have big bottles inside the shower (one for shower and one for shampoo)

There were quite a lot of ants in the bathroom and the toilet wasn’t flushing.
We liked the big rooms and view on the pool. Also breakfast was really good and the staff was very flexible they let us have a let check out.

The pillows too hard and woke with a sore neck. Breakfast started at 6am consequently nothing was hot when the majority of guests ate. We were on the top level and those stairs are a killer. No lift.
The pool was a welcomed relief from the humid weather . Room size generous. Bathroom modern. Plenty of Thai food options compared to western for breakfast which was a pleasant change.

No elevator so 3rd floor was annoying carrying my bags up! Main problem was bathroom was crawling with ants, they came to kill them and then I just had a floor full of dead ants and they left, was still a few remaining as well.
This resort was amazing! Looked beautiful, nice staff and good breakfast…

Great room and pool. Breakfast ok, did the job. Beds a bit firm but spotless. No vending machines but kettle and coffee in room. Great proximity to main drag. Had a lovely stay and would return. Pool was great but could do with rail for access for the older person.

The are no lifts to the upper floors
Staff were fabulous and very helpful. Always ready with a smile and answer to any question seemed to be yes. Pool is lovely and breakfast was plentiful, but not hot enough for my preference. Rooms are good and lovely and clean. Did I mention the staff? 😁

All good
A large cosy, comfortable and quiet room. I was on the third floor and there is no elevator, but that's alright with me as I am fit enough to climb the stairs ok. It could be a problem with older people though. Still a good location with the bamboo tour company just up the road that organised my tours. Just a short walk to the night market with the different variety of foods and of course 7 eleven for the little things I needed including the beers to take back. All in all a very good place to stay.
