How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

A bit of noise coming from outside as it is very central location + extractor / fan noise from outside all night. Property is on a hill plus stairs makes it a bit hard if you travel with small kids. Parking for cars is there but small makes it a but hard to turn around.
Beds are comfortable and sleep was great.

They didn't offer slippers and towels,so I had to buy in the store.
My flight was delayed,when I checked in,it's midnight,I appreciated that the host was waiting for me.All staffs I meet were friendly.The room was clean.The location is closed to the karon beach,that's very convenient.

Bed was so tight. Usually I dont have any requirements for bed mattres, but this one was a hard core.. Also under bed was a huge amount of dusts - looks like nobody cleaned that for almost a year.
Location, terrace, lovely outdoors atmosphere. Spacious and big room. I read comments about noise, but it was fine with my room. Good price and everything you need to have a lovely holiday.

The water pressure in the shower and that hill to the hotel will definitely work on your glutes, but it’s still great value for money!
Very nice staff, great value for money, excellent location - within walking distance to both kata beach and karon beach, many restaurants and the night market. The room was clean and convenient.

The water pressure/volume in the shower was really bad; toiletries were scarce and not practical (tiny soap and no shower gel, we had to buy some). But the worst was the location - close to the beaches (both Kata and Karon) and the restaurants, but also sadly close to lots and lots of bars, loud music and people partying until 2-3 am. And overall just a trashy spot in Phuket, I didn’t expect it to be that bad.
The room was very spacious and super clean. The aircon worked amazingly.

The water pressure was a bit lacking
The views, the location to both beaches, the location to the night market and restaurants was awesome no need to take a baht bus, also the access to currency exchanges and convenience stores was nice, the property owner’s were great and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this location to others, and I definitely would stay here again in the future

The water pressure is the only weakness to this room, the pressure is weak in the shower but enough to have a shower.
The easy check-in on arrival, and quick access to the room when you get there. The aircon worked very well. Good size room with everything you need including a table and chairs, except no shampoo or soap in the bathroom (bring your own). Another table and 2 chairs were located outside the room, with a slight view of the sea and a big drying rack. The location provides easy access to everywhere on the north side of Kata (beach, restaurants,bars etc..)

very clean and the room was very good, the host is also lovely. good location as it’s a little bit off the main road so you can’t hear the noise at night but still only a 5 min walk to the beach. I would deffo return :)

Great position just a few minutes walk to both Karon and Kata beach and to all restaurants and bars, but you need to come up a bit so you'll really feel like you're in nature and far away from the road traffic and noise! We loved this feeling and the amazing staff that made us feel like home🙂 Also our room was beautiful and super clean, you get new towels and water/coffee every day and the view from our window was gorgeous! Thank you for making our stay so lovely, next time in Phuket we'll visit you girls for sure!

Guests smoking in the bar area.
Out of the chaos of Karon/kata but close enough to be involved with a short walk..ideal. The room was excellent.

The fridge in our room was loud so I need to turn it off every night and kinda hard beds, but not a big deal.
Very friendly owners and good location - close to kata and karon beach (10min walk).
