Internet speed is very slow. Aircon was not very powerful, room insulation is very poor. Hot inside the room during hotest hours of the day, even with aircon and fan full power.

Not the best location if you don’t have a bike. Very hilly and quite far to walk into the centre.

Room was nice and felt clean! Pool was really nice with amazing view. Reception area was nice. New manager was friendly whilst checking in.

Not much. If you cannot ride a scooter, you might not like this location. But with a scooter, the location is great in my opinion.

I loved my stay at Golden Hill. The owner and his family run the hotel and they are very kind and you can tell they care about their guests. The pool has an incredible view that is perfect for morning coffee. They also have a private beach which I had all to my self. I extended my stay here twice because it was such a great value.

The rooms are all on a hill, which means that there are rooms that you have to hike and go up (also to go to the reception) which can be too much if you are tired. the place is nice and simple, a little bit expensive for what you get.

The location is great, with beautiful beaches around, not too far from the city but still pretty quiet. comfy rooms, nice energy very nice staff

The bungalows need a lot of maintenance, and some modern furniture. The mattress of the bed is probably the original one from when they were built, it was knackered and springs poking out in every angle. Air con is old and kept freezing up and dripping all over the floor so had to turn it off after a while as it kept making popping and banging noises from the lumps of ice spinning around inside the unit.

The ambitious of the surroundings are nice, I loved waking up in the morning listening to nature with my morning coffee. the pool was also very clean with a nice view of the sunset overlooking the beach. Staff are nice and friendly.

A very idyllic resort where you can really relax! The sea-view pool is incredible and so are the sunsets you can see from there. After sleeping in a lot of hard Thai beds the beds at this resort feel like sleeping on clouds too. The little private beach they have is super cute and has a swing, a perfect photo spot! All in all, this place is amazing with great staff as well!

There is no ventilation system in the bathroom.

Loved our stay at Golden Hill Resort. Very good value for money. The room we had was very big and the balcony was amazing. There is a fridge and a kettle in the room, which is really handy. It is located in a very quiet dead end street, which is nice. The view from the pool is stunning. There is a drinking water refill station and tops daily supermarket close by. Note: you need a scooter for Koh Phangan no matter for which location.

The path to access the "private beach" is not well maintained and pretty tricky There is most of the time no one at the reception They said that if you book via booking.com, they don't come to clean the room everyday The water pressure of the shower was really really low The AC was working, but we could not change the temperature

I didnt like that the light was connected to the inside room and the outside balcony. Also the towels smelled a bit weird but it's probably because it was hard to keep everything dry. The tiles in the bathroom floor moved around a bit and the shower wasn't amazing but it worked and the water was hot. Overall a good experience though.

The view from the pool was gorgeous. I liked that there were 3 beds separate in the room. There were 3 different mirror options too which made getting ready for 3 girls easy. The beds were comfortable and the fan kept it cool enough for us.the staff was helpful and friendly. The view is really nice with 2 balconies 🙏🏽
