How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Clean showers, wonderful staff, super beautiful and great spots nearby. Also really loved the pods in the dorms. Lots of room for your stuff and also blackout curtains

Very clean, and had very nice facilities and common areas. Staff were very accommodating and friendly, and I liked how it was a 24-hour desk.

I have nothing to complain about.
Simply amazing the place, I stayed 1 month, the staff who work on site is exceptional, very beautiful, comfortable place, has air conditioning in the lobby, bedrooms and reading room. The bathrooms are very clean, the laundry service costs on average 100 Thai Baht per Kg, I recommend going to a Self-Service laundry, it has 7-11 very close, almost every day there are tours of the Hostel (you pay for locomotion and what to consume. I recommend it for short and long stays, and a special thanks to Sky, Omisin and Gent ❤️ I’ll see you soon.

I wish there were mini cooking stove in the kitchen but it’s not a big deal.
I had amazing time there. Not a party hostel which was perfect cuz I needed a good sleep after a long flight. The staff were so kind and helpful. Common areas are overall clean and tidy, and I saw staff were cleaning all the time. Also, cozy neighborhood with tons of local food cart/restaurant.

The dorms are located to the first and second floor and there’s no lift available, only stairs. You are in the Old town, and it’s not very well connected. The closest train station is 15 mins walking. You can always get the bus, however we know that traffic is terrific in Bangkok. Or there’s the boat service near by (10mins walking) to get to the city.
Good hostel, bed dorms are really nice and each bed has curtains, plug in and little light. Good and stable stair for the beds on top. Very welcoming with nice tables, reception and small kitchen. Free sandwiches, coffee, tea and filter water. Cash payments only (they don’t accept card payments) It’s good for solo travellers and couples. Very close to the Sleeping Buddha, The Grand Palace and local night markets.

A couple of the showers weren't hot but it didn't detract from my stay for a second.
Despite being shared dorm rooms, My bed felt like such a private little cocoon & everyone was very respectful. Seriously it felt like being in a Japanese capsule hotel but with a much more communal vibe. AC was wonderfully cold, facilities were great & staff were very friendly + daily tours of local attractions are a significant bonus. Oh & I have to award full points to any hostel which has a guitar available for people to play :)

It would be better if they have or provide the cloth ironing facilities. This is the one issue I faced.
Cleanliness, Security using remote lock given. This will allow and help the customers to enter or exit anytime They want.. without disturbing the hotel employees. 👍👍

I wouldn’t say this hostel is the most sociable, but it depends on the purpose for your visit. For me personally I’d finished a long journey so it suited me well to not be in a busy, noisy party hostel!

Very social, I met some friends there, the staff was helpfull. I lost my passport there and they contacted me some days after I already was doing the paperwork for getting a new one in the Spanish embassy in Thailand.

Good location, free tours each day with people from the hostel. Met amazing people!!!!! Staff is so kind and very willing to teach you about Thailand culture/history. Clean and able to lock your whole bunk when you’re gone. Love love love.

The sound travelled

Best bunks ever. Wide beds, curtains, private safety box inside bunk, charging station with head lamp. Great rooftop terrace, absolutely amazing adjacent coffee house with awesome baristas making delicious coffee! Very friendly and helpful staff!

The sfaff was super helpful. The place is perfect to meet people. They also provide free sandwiches, water, coffee, etc. I really like enjoyed here.

Not too friendly for solo travelers. Lots of groups doing their own things and not lot of space to socialize. Good anyway
Very good location and well connected to the city center. Rooms are clean enough and you get the change to have some privacy by closing the curtain (which can be a good surplus)

Minor minus is that I wished I could have payed my stay by card. But cash is dominating in Thailand everywhere so it´s ok :)
Amazing, comfy hostel. Clean, friendly staff and free egg sandwiches in the morning! Free water to drink in the kitchen as well as hot water for tea :) rooms are super cute and the rooftop too :)!

The bathrooms are spacious and clean, the rooms have lockable safes in each bed compartment, the area is fun but not loud, the rooftop terrace is an added bonus
