How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Rooms did not feel clean, several marks on the walls and beds. But for the price its not bad value for momey

Many of the sheets are frayed with holes and tears.. but if you stay at the 483 property it’s nice and new sheets. For the price and location it’s very suitable.

The distance between one place and another is very close, so I prefer to walk. Many facilities can be accessed from the hotel, including a 7-Eleven which is next to the hotel. As for the room, it's suitable for solo vacationing. Even though the location is by the side of the road, I can't hear any traffic noise when I sleep. I might consider staying there again if I visit Bangkok.

Sheets were old and tearing in my first room but the second room was great. Last room excellent. I stayed in 3 different rooms over a period of 3 weeks

The amenities weren’t the best option for travelers but enough for the money you are paying. No hairdryer.
I liked the smooth check-in and the kind staff. Also the location is good as is 5min away or less walking from Khaosan Road. They placed 2 bottles of water and soap.

The wifi are frequently disconnected we have to ask everyday for pass word which is very inconvenient room too small compared to the photo in booking .com no provided toothbrush or slipper and we need to ask for soap refill

The staff didn't have any idea or answer to any question. They just had a kettle for the whole building and was borrowed to the guest, so if someone kept it for more than 3hours, or two days you wouldn't have access to boil water

Room a bit small so we didn’t feel very safe being so close to the door. Wifi a bit annoying as you have to ask for a new password every 24 hours.

Room is a bit small but not expecting much for its price. Good enough room if your just looking for a place to sleep in with a decent toilet and bath.
Location is great. Just a few minute walk away to khaosan without all the party noise. There's also a 7eleven on the first floor just beside the hotel entrance so its very convenient.

Unfortunately drains in bathroom had a strong smell of sewerage one morning. But not for the duration of the stay.
Good location, room was basic but everything we needed! Allowed us to check in an hour early.

The AC in our room didn’t get very cold even on the lowest setting. It was comfortable enough to sleep but not great when you come back hot and want to cool down. No kettle in the room.
Great location, far enough away from the crazy part but still walking distance to a few attractions. Easy to get around on grab bikes! 7/11 right next door too which was a great bonus! The room was good enough for what we needed!

I think the hotel should at least have toothepaste, soap, and other amenities just like most hotels.
The staff were nice and helpful. The location is great and near Khao san road, but not in the party area which was great to sleep at night.

Not at fault of the property whatsoever but the school opposite could be quite loud during the day. Fine at night though Not much of an outside area to sit/hang out.
Great location - minutes from bus stops and lots of nice little food places. Near enough to tourist spots but without the noise. Lovely staff - let us check in a little earlier than the usual time as we must have been clearly very jet lagged. Always there to help out and recommend stuff. I injured my foot and the lady behind the desk was super helpful and kind about it. 7-11 next door!

Beds were a bit hard.
The staff are very responsible and friendly! Rooms are good size and in a good location. Close enough to Koh San road but far enough to not hear the noise.
