Everything is perfect!

An Artistic Hotel: everything is an artwork: the sculptures are beautiful, specially Buddha statues, the pool is outstandingly wonderful, the food is excellent, the staff is kind and helpful. We really love Sawasdee: this is our fourth visit, and we keep coming to our favorite hotel. Thank you Jan for your cooking , thank you Kae and everybody else.

The property itself was excellent and couldn’t fault it. The location wasn’t my favourite - the street is mostly made up of massage and weed shops and the surrounding area is very touristy. Kata beach isn’t too far away which was nice though.

The hotel is stunning, the decorations and the lights are beautiful! We stayed in one of the swim up rooms which are so worth it, they’re much bigger and have direct access to the pool. The value for money here is great.

The pool bar (or somewhere for a drink) could stay open later for those nights when you just want to stay in.

The garden and pool area are shaded and lovely. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious. But the staff are wonderful, particularly "the boys". Helpful, funny, kind, problem solving and capable.

Couldn't connect to mobile device to tv to stream Netflix, after a gentleman came to reestablish the internet connection to the tv at night, after we didn't have th tv connected. Check-in could only be accommodated at 2:40 pm, after a check in time of 2:00 pm was said to be the expectation, it impacted the flow of our afternoon with having to wait to get into the room to freshen up and get things for the beach unfortunately (would have been great if an offer to check out later the next day was extended perhaps) - we did a 1 night stay so it impacted the flow a bit more intensely than if we had more time for our stay where we wouldn't feel the time impact as much.

Location of the property was great in proximity to taking a nice walk to the beach or grabbing the complimentary shuttle, restaurants, shops nearby too, a lovely welcome drink extended at reception upon check-in. The property is beautiful, the architecture and decor with attention to detail is truly another level, a true oasis in the middle of Kata. Pools were lovely, breakfast was a great spread, the bed was comfortable, lovely rain shower, amenities as advertised, a truly wonderful stay. Instagram captures are all over the property and at night the experience and atmosphere is enriched by the level of detail and lighting within the property. We would love to return and recommend to those looking for an experience in a stay with Instagram moments and special milestones to celebrate with partners or extended family and friends if that appeals...

Location is rather poor. There's a bus going to the beach, but who needs a beach at the Sawasdee? :-) The premium swimming pools were a little too cold for us.

The stay was truly a miraculous experience that exceeded all the (high) expectations. The interior of the premium villa we stayed was even better than on the photos.

The prices for some facilities are way to expensive compared to the prices outside the hotel

The personal is very helpfull and kind, the design is interesting , and the hotel has many facilities. Food is good also.

It wasn't on the beach and I love seeing the beach when I step outside the hotel. I went in the low season so it was very hot and just a little too far to walk and I'm not fussed on being tied to times for the bus transport so I swam in the pool. This isn't a complaint but being on the beach would have been preferable. My friend picked the resort based on facilities and aesthetics and all of that was perfect.

Spectacular lighting and decor. Very peaceful and the pools were kept super clean with beautiful water temperatures. The staff were all very friendly and respectful. Conveniently located to shops, massage and restaurants. There was a free shuttle bus to the beach each day.

We had food in the restaurant one night, and it was not good. I got the meat platter and the chicken came out cold and there was two ants on the plates. I would not recommend eating here. But I would still come back to stay without a doubt.

We stayed in the Baray villa for our honeymoon and it was exceptional. The places was absolutely huge. We got plenty of free water to drink and it was one of the most stunning places I have ever stayed in around the world. It was an absolute treat for us, the price was expensive for Thailand but still very cheap for Irish prices. The staff are friendly and the place was a dream. The swimming pool was perfect and I cannot think of anything else to say, only it is worth the money if you feel like splurging.

It was really hot in April 2024 when we visited and the restaurant was an open space, no airconditioning. It would be a lovely addition.

The interior. Perfectly situated away from the beach front chaoss, the village itself is a destination. It is picturesque everywhere and staff are friendly. The room we had had direct pool access and it was fantastic.

everything was great. from the first moment we walked through the door of this hotel we were enchanted by everything. we travel a lot as a couple and in luxury hotels but this kind of treatment from the staff was the second time. kind, smiling people willing to provide and help youto everything. from early morning until late at night their smile was as beautiful as the night decoration of the hotel.. you feel like you are in a fairy tale. the breakfast was perfect.. and because of my work as a chef I know very well about the quality.. we will definitely visit again.a big thank you from my heart to SAN and MO at the front desk.. 5 nights dream. thank you .

The rooms are quite small and not too spacious and the bathroom and toilet has a terrible smell of sewage.

The resort is an oasis of tranquillity in the busy kata area of Phuket. The design and the atmosphere of the resort is astonishing. The staff is very friendly, super helpful and kind.

Nothing at all

Absolutely everything! The room we stayed in - Room 203 Aquarius - was simply stunning. Yes it had some small repairs/paint work needed, but nothing could take away from the fabulousness of this room! Firstly, it is not a room, but a 2 story apartment with its own jacuzzi leading to its own pool, which leads out into a large sharing pool. Just superb. The staff are some of the most friendliest we have encountered in all the countries we have visited. Nothing was too much trouble, from the happy, helpful guy who sorted our luggage to and from our car, to the wonderful lady cooking the omelettes for breakfast each morning! Just lovely, happy people. Room service great, gym facilities perfectly adequate, an all round fantastic 5 day stay to start our Thailand adventure! Thank you all at Sawasdee Village for making our stay so perfect.

Although it may seem like it's out of their control, this is the only hotel, over a 2 week stay, where we were plagued with mosquitos. There was an optional net for around the bed at nights, but the mosquitos were constantly in the room, so there is always a danger of trapping them in rather than out.

This place is just a deceptively tranquil haven, but with all you could need directly on your doorstep. Staff were incredible - particularly K2 who took time out of his day, each day, to teach our little one some Thai, and making her feel like a complete VIP
