There needs to be more investment in the maintenance (pools were dirty, air con in the room is noisy). I heard that his resort was very nice in the past but the covid crisis affected them, which is okay and explains the price. It does however feel old, but it gives it a vibe too! You feel inspired because it is a quiet place with not a lot of guests.

I liked the resort, the room, and the price! Ice-coffees are so good! It's just nice to be around such a nice resort for a low price. The location is good too, you can be in the centre in 10 mins by scooter. I liked the energy too of the locals managing it.

Wifi is really bad, not powerful enough for work. This is a bid of a deal breaker as we had to go somewhere else during working hours to be able to work. Other than that, all good.

The views from the room are unbeatable, direct sunset is delivered to you! Swimming in the infinite pool while watching the sunset is a really nice experience! The common area is big and comfy, and the aircon in the room is powerful. They have a kitchen and cafe which is quite nice. Location, being not central, is perfect to avoid unnecessary noise.

Location is quite out of the way, not much within walking distance. Hotel food was quite highly priced for what it was

The steps everywhere were very steep without handrails (including into our ensuite shower)

No daily room cleaning - not ideal considering how much parties there are on the island. Aircon barely worked and was only passable at night and that was after we told reception it didn't work. Floor boards in the room felt like they might snap - the whole place feels like it's due for light maintenance/renovations.

Location - away from the hustle and bustle of the island but easy enough to get to whatever you need. Staff were friendly and helpful, restaurant was good quality and price. 10/10 view. Pool was really nice too! Also heaps of services available through reception- bike hire, laundry, pier transfere etc

Old, pools are not ”welcoming”

They only provided 2 bottles of water on my arrival. Didn't receive any more water, unlike other hotels. The place could do with a revamp and feels like they don't care for the upkeep of the grounds. Could be a decent resort with some TLC. The room was clean and comfortable. I wanted to use the bigger swimming pool, but it looked dirty, so I didn't use it.

- the mattress is extremely firm, and completely uncomfortable. Feels almost like you sleep on the deck - I took a bike for 2 days, and the second day it stopped working. Even though they made a discount and it costed 200, instead of 250 bht, I do not think 200-250 is a legit price for an old and potentially broken click

The rooms in the new houses are neat and clean. The stuff speaks English and the woman in the restaurant is very nice.

There is an Israelian guy that doesn't stay there that claims the whole swimming pool almost every day and is very loud. Constantly yells and screams stuff in Hebrew. It was pretty disturbing and the main reason I left this place. We (the guests) pay for the pool, but we can't use it because he claims it for his swimming lessons. And at the same time we can't sit and enjoy our balcony or room in peace and quiet because he is constantly yelling stuff super loud in a foreign language that's disturbing us. This happened almost daily and was not nice for guests that are paying for their stay there.

Very good location right in between town and the gym for us. Super close for everything we needed. Decent room for the price. The room is quite spacious, airconditioned, sea view. It's also clean and the staff is friendly.

The resort is built on a hill, which means there are lots of stairs. The stairs are built unevenly, so that some of them are taller than others. Not good for someone with knee problems.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The location was relatively central. It helped that I rented a car. They have a great pool, so I was able to regularly swim my 1000m. The room was basic but adequate.

The door didn’t close properly, so we slept with the balcony door open. There is no lock on the front door, so you have to padlock it. When we took a shower, the water did not run down the drain, so there was a lot of water left in the bath for a long time. The pool is very big and good for swimming, but the smell in the area is unpleasant. I went in wanting to spend a long time there but the smell immediately drove me out. It looks like the hotel was good at one time, the facilities are large and spacious, but it needs a bit of maintenance. Not worth the money it costs. It was the most expensive hotel we paid for in our month in Thailand, and definitely not worth it. It's fine if you're going for a couple of days, but I wouldn't spend more than three.

Big room. The view is not amazing but you can watch a nice sunset from there.

Staff weren't the friendliest. You need a moped to get around. Over priced for full moon.

Location was good close to thongsala. Offered a shuttle for 500thb to the full moon. Room was spacious

Our room had a cabinet under the sink where the previous tenants left multiple water bottles that resulted in a bad smell. After mentioning this before room service, this was cleaned up. Also the room is built from wood, which, due to its age, resulted in multiple gaps to outside. No major problem, but this leads to bad sound isolation, which might bother some people.

The view from our balcony was really beautiful, especially during the sunset. The reception was also really helpful, when we had questions regarding the open accessible laundry machines. There are multiple pools to stay cool during the day, for those who like variety.

Room cleaning was once every 2 days, but did not get done once in our 4 days.

Pool was great, two pools and a slide between the two was a bonus. Quiet room, sea in front, nice decor with tree logs.

My toilet and shower were very smelly, almost dirty. Got the impression it never get very deep cleaned with bleach or something. Tiles shower were yellowish..

Place is owned by mother and daughter who are very friendly, especially the mother. Breakfast and coffees are good! Location is ok!

It is located quite a bit away from everywhere and you would definitely need a scooter or taxis to get about. Our room was basic but the door didn't close completely and to lock it you used a padlock. In our bathroom there was a weird stone/gravel through it/ in the middle of it.

The staff were so helpful when we had an issue with our bike. Set in a lovely location with great views over two of the pools

Very hilly and high steps to all accommodation and reception very low lighting on stairs on an evening had to use mobiles to see where we were walking

Taxi service from hotel can hire scooters from hotel food good value and also laundering service you can use to wash and dry clothes for a small fee

The staff were lovely, food at the restaurant was good, our family room had everything we needed. It felt like Thailand from many years ago, which we loved. Had a washing machine and dryer you could use for a fee. We had our own transport which I would recommend.
