The Ford was great!! Amazing pool, rooms were spacious, clean and a quick walk to Hin Kong beach. The beach is not really for swimming, but the Sunsets are amazing!! The area is nice and peaceful with loads of restaurants/bars/entertainment options.

- The rooms by the pool are in need of renovation as they are very old and tired. All of the fixtures on the walls are loose and ready to fall off. It was also very damp. The owner/manager said they plan to do this

- The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - Scooter rental - The room was spacious - Decent enough Wi-Fi - Nice pool area - Nice restaurant, seating and pool table area - Quiet area, not too far of a ride from the main areas

Our front door was broken and we could spend up to 5 minutes trying to close and lock it to go out. The staff did come to help with it, which was great, but still a bit annoying when trying to get out for the day.

The room was spacious and clean with a large double bed and a big toilet/shower room. Great pool and a restaurant on site with lots of options at good pricing. The staff were lovely and quick to help with everything we needed.

The wifi router , a/c and fridge are all noisy. I had to unplug the router as it was screeching. The property is great just needs an update and some maintenance, which the lovely owner Mr Ford told me is on the way. I had an older room , the newer style rooms look awesome.

The staff and the location are awesome. The swimming pool is a big size too.

The room was old and dated. Compared to other locations I stayed at for similar and even cheaper prices, this location was not worth it. The door was in rough shape and broke the first morning, but they kindly and promptly fixed it for us.

The staff were super nice and pleasant, even gave me an alternative waterfall recommendation which I thoroughly enjoyed! I cannot stress enough that they are what made my stay here enjoyable.

It was very good value for the price! The room was quite modest but had comfortable bed and hot shower. I also liked the restaurant area with a nice view to the sea. Although next to the road, it was very quiet and peaceful here.

We had a wonderful 1.5 month stay at the friendly, family-run Ford resort. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, equipped with a bar fridge, coffee making facility and flat screen tv with internet access. The delux rooms have the most comfortable mattresses - best mattresses in Thailand! Our room was cleaned regularly, with the sheets and towels changed every time.The large pool was well maintained and crystal clear. A big plus is the free pool table where many enjoyable evenings were spent playing pool with the owners Ford and Pappa! The resort has a very good restaurant serving a variety of great dishes. From the restaurant, we watched beautiful sunsets whilst sipping on cocktails. The owners and all the staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We felt like it was a home away from home. Our thanks to Ford and his family and staff for making us feel so welcome which made our stay so enjoyable. At the Ford Resort you arrive as a guest and leave as family! We will be sure to stay at The Ford Resort when next we visit Thailand.

Overall our stay was good but there were some insects in the bathroom (mainly ants though which didn't bother us too much) The walls were also very thin so we could hear everything said by neighbours next door.

Bedroom nice and the location is good to explore the island. The owner was very helpful and accommodating when our ferry was late arriving and stayed up to check us in. The bar area is great for relaxing!

Friendly resort. I met a lot if people here. Ford and his family are down to earth. Warm and helpful people. I would have given a higher rating but the restaurant was not open during my stay. When the restaurant opens and the building work is completed the Ford Resort will be even better. Ideally situated between Srithanu and Thong Sala you are within a short drive of either Zen Heaven or Nightlife. Ideal for Solo travellers looking to make friends or Digital Nomads looking to use the large working spaces at the fron of the resort. I ended up staying much,, much longer than 4 days. Despite the heavy building work that was going on during my stay I will definitely be returning to Ford Resort for my next stay. The friendly atmosphere, cleanliness of the rooms, door to door laundry service, swimming pool, spectacular sunsets and price are all great.. I will be looking forward to eating at the restaurant and enjoying sunset!
