Sides with a bit of a view, face a school which could be noisy weekdays. Some rooms have far less wardrobe, drawer space and desk size than others. A desk lamp for reading and hand-towel rail in bathroom would help. Tepid hot water in bathroom – both sink and shower. Limited electric plug points, mostly near bed rather than desk for computer.

Boutique hotel in a quiet side-street, yet close to major sites. Elegantly furnished in traditional Thai style. Full complement of foreign news channels. Lobby features specialty teas for sale to connoisseurs. Rare for a small three storey hotel, it has a lift/elevator. Quieter side-rooms face a neighbouring block without windows, so private. Charming antique-style brass fittings in the bathroom. Helpful and polite staff who do their best with limited English, especially Rein

Nothing not to like. It was near a school and sometimes heard the children. Taxis could not get down tge short road to hotel

Horrible check in experience. We showed up at the hotel after a two day trek (which we notified the hotel about) at 5:50 pm desperately wanting to check in and shower. We had previously received a message on booking from the hotel letting us know that check in is from 14:00-20:00, meaning we were clear within the check in time. We arrived at an empty hotel. There was no one at the desk and all of the lights were off. We sat around for a couple minutes, ringing the bell a bit, shouting for someone and calling the reception (that we were standing at) before realizing no one was coming. The was another number listed to call, which just happened to ring a cell phone that was plugged in at the reception. We looked so sorry that another guest in the hotel offered to let us use their room to shower!!! We finally found another number to call which led to a girl who’s English wasn’t great, she stumbled a bit before asking if we could wait an hour for someone to show up! The answer was obviously no, so she said she’ll be there in 10 minutes. Once she arrived she couldn’t even find our reservation, apparently they hadn’t printed it. When we finally found it she took us to our room, no before telling us that the check in hours were 14:00-16:00, a ridiculously small window and completely contradictory to what was written in the email the hotel themselves sent out. Once on our floor, we realized all of the lights in the floor were off too, so we turned those on by ourselves. Anyway, after a 45 minute check in process and plenty of unknowns and waiting around we finally had a room and a shower.

Cute hotel with colonial design, spacious rooms and great location. Great value for money compared to others in the area.

There was no bar nor laundry at the hotel, but the closest cafe to get breakfast is 3 mins walking distance so all fine! :)

The location inside the Old City is good; easy walking distance to most places. The room is comfortable enough, about the same as any other hotel.

The room I had faces the wall of the hotel next door. It‘s not a deal breaker, but the room I had at a previous stay had a balcony with a view to the landward which was a nice touch and made the room brighter.

The staff are warm and welcoming and helpful. The location is amazing and quiet. The room is beautiful, clean, interesting and has all you need. The bed is super cozy and the sheets are extremely soft. I would stay here again.

It could have been a bit cleaner (surfaces were dusty and the balcony hadn‘t been mopped in a while). Other guests talking, closing doors, etc. is VERY loud because of the echo in the hallway. I would have loved a warmer welcome with some orientation to what is in the area, the facilities and check out procedure.

My room was lovely. Nice lighting, very comfortable bed and beautiful linens, storage space. I enjoyed the balcony, though a chair for out there would be nice. It‘s fairly quiet neighbourhood and easy to get to everything.

The thing I dont like is they provide very very old/torn bath towel. And time for cleaning the rooms is after 5pm?

Location was good, very quiet part of Chiang Mai but just 10 minutes walking to the central.

Second room that one of our parties was moved to had some deficiencies, but overall still good. We paid cash when we arrived, but the hotel marked us as no show in error so we were charged double. Situation was rectified, but I am glad I looked at my credit card statement.

Room was clean and comfortable. We wanted to extend our stay for 2 days and they accommodated us by moving us to two different rooms. Pea was very kind and helpful.

at morning you can hear everything from the hall, at 9am maids are talking loud so if you like sleep longer it will be a problem, also you can here sounds from the temple and school nearby
