Aquapark closed, the heated pool was cold for me, sea water was also cold in this period.

bathroom (2163) is pretty run down; functional, clean, but not any more state of the art. never seen that unskilled Omelett chiefs before 😆. breakfast coffee options poor, juices in existent.

hotel was wonderful. plenty to do and the staff were amazing. i unfortunately ended up with a room over the 24 hour bar and as somebody who was away to relax found that a struggle. did ask to change rooms but what was offered was over looking a carpark and a distance away from where I was so would have been difficult to move all my belongings so ended up staying and bought ear plugs.

Terrible wifi, let's say forget about internet here. Staff didn't know english except one person in the reception out of 10 I met and one girl at entertainment booking table. The rest were pretending to understand. I had asked 5 times for tissue and each time getting different thing instead. Also the beach is not at all as shown on the picture in the booking.com. it has no beach court on the beach and is not that big. There are buildings by it.

Big facility and never you have to queue much for anything. Plenty place for everyone. Open bar till 8.00 am. Amazing pool bar that you can drink on the bar stools but in the pool.

Plenty of water rides for kids. Location is good. Taxi ride to Kusadasi one way is fix €10 and to Efes €35 return. Izmir airport taxi ride approx € 60.

I liked commitment of the staff: they were trying to be as helpful as possible. I'm a 🏃‍♂️ so early in the morning I had a 2.5hrs of run. Did two loops to Selcuk road, highway to Kusadasi and from a tiny mountain road back to the hotel. They made us a snack for 5am with bananas and ao forth. We put water next to the security. Very helpful. You may feel that the hotel is aged but kept in good condition. Food was plenty with good choices. Location wise I like Kusadasi more. Swimming wise its not my type of the sea because I like the cleaness more. Here seaside is sandy with water also sandy. Waterpark is fun for whole family. We enjoyed it for 3 days. Transport is good: taxi 10eur fixed to Kusadasi. You can take a dolmush, public transport for 18liras. Overall great experience. I would also recommend managing mosquitoes around the hotel: even sprays didnt help during evening openair programs. Mojito in a beach bar was 3 out 10 though.

We liked everything except the wifi was poor. This may not always be the case but for all of us it would drop out very often.

The hotel was very clean and had lots of different sections, bars and areas. The cleanliness of the place was good and the pools were lovely. Having access to the aquapark was fantastic. There were so many staff and they were lovely.

Shortcomings to be lifted: First, upon arrival the front desk tried to charge us in TKL instead of EUR as specified on our booking. This would have costed us almost 200 EUR more. After going into an argument with the front desk officer it was suddenly possible. So, there was a lack of willingness from the part of the officer, which is not worthy of a 5-star resort welcome. Second, the housekeeping staff is not doing what is expected. There was dirt (a lot of it) under the beds, which were not moved for weeks it seemed. The room carpets were not clean. One of the bathrooms even had pie-droplets on the toilet seat when we arrived in the room ! How is all this related to a 5-star establishment ? Third, a lot of guests were misbehaving but there was zero-reaction against it by the staff and management. Examples are smoking at the entry of the restaurant next to guests and especially children that were eating ice-cream, smoking in child-friendly areas altogether (e.g. at the swimming pool), reserving pool chairs at the pool by putting resort-owned towels or floaters without every visiting those chairs the rest of the day, or jumping in the swimming pool at night and making lots of noise, etc., all of this at the detriment of guests that were well-behaved. If the management’s idea of having a great holiday is to let guests misbehave the way they want, not having the guts to enforce a minimum of respect, then they should change their name in Anarchy Fantasy instead of Aquafantasy ! There are even rules on display about how one cannot occupy seats in this way, but there is zero enforcement by the resort management itself. Fourth, the luggage storage has a serious supervision shortcoming because we were able to retrieve (our own) 16 suitcases and 4 back-packs by just walking in and out the luggage storage (I even knocked and shouted “hello ?”); no control to be seen anywhere near.

This was a memorable 4-star experience for the kids but in order to qualify as a 5-star resort many shortcomings must be lifted (see below). The entertainment was great and this is valid for the entire resort (pool entertainment, aquagym, afternoon sports, kids entertainment, evening shows, etc.). The breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet were excellent and of the highest standards. Also the late breakfast and snacks buffets were amazing. I personally underestimated them, but they were larger than the main buffets in other hotels. The kitchen and restaurant staff were of the highest quality and well-behaved. Together with the animators they are undoubtedly 5-star quality among the rest of the hotel that is struggling to maintain 4-stars.

WiFi was a little difficult, i the modern world could be better. Could have more selection in minibar. Fanta , two packs of water was little small for the family checking in hungry. only problem ia finding a table inside to eat if you go in April it to cold to stay outside waiting time in the morning to get some omelette it nightmare ! They should employ more staff they also they charge for a fresh orange juice this normally must be include it in the all inclusive but it not ! But the beach and location it beautiful only 15 min from the Kusadasi town !
