How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Some of the rooms overlook the noisy part of the area.

Noisy on the weekend night, we had one big problem and is that in one of the rooms the shower had a leaking so all the bathroom ended up washed out
The locations was excellent and the staff was super helpful

There is no power backup at the hotel in case the electricity goes out.
The compact yet cosy rooms and friendly staff make it a decent value for the money.

There is no lift. We had to walk up three flights of stairs every time we went out and about and I'm on the waiting list for a knee replacement. Ask for a first floor room if you have any kind of mobility issues
Location is excellent. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast is fine but you have to pay extra if you want a fry up.

The tap water in the bathroom was salty for some reason, which made it a bit unpleasant when brushing teeth and taking showers. The open air pool on the rooftop was cleaned daily but still had some bugs and leaves in it.
Great hotel with amazing spacious rooms and friendly helpful staff. The breakfast was pretty good with a good selection of cheese, vegetables, fruits, jams, and warm foods. There was no need to try the famous Turkish breakfast, as this hotel's breakfast was basically the buffet version of it. Room service was great too - clean sheets and towels and bottles of water everyday. We also enjoyed drinking turkish tea every day in the common area. The location of the hotel was comfortable for us.

There is no car park. Very narrow streets. Not easy to get there. It might be noisy during high season. Breakfast was not so good. Options was very limited. They make orange juice from powder.
Beside shopping area. Very closed to city centre. Room and facility was very clean. Helpful staff.

Couple of small complaints, nothing major. Requested double room for wife and i and got twin beds. Breakfast included but very basic continental breakfast. Had to ask for bread on 2 occasions as basket was empty. Was looking forward to relaxing by the pool, but was not open. Looked fab in the pictures but later found in small print that pool is seasonal.
Excellent location, friendly staff and clean hotel. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Rooms cleaned and fresh towels daily.

The outside swimming pool was full of leaves and looked very dirty. The rooms were ok but a no storage to put clothes and only 4 hangers for shirts and dresses.
The location was fantastic right in the middle of all the shopping area and not far from the beach

We stayed for a week. It was a little noisy at the weekend as it’s beside Bar Street, but it didn’t bother us too much. It was great value for the money.
The location was great . Staff were absolutely brilliant, so friendly and helpful.

We went in February and was a little noisy from Bar Street.couldnt imagine in summer.We was moved twice as they were renovating and ended up in a lovely side room were the noise was less.
Central for all shops cafes etc.Very close to Bar Street.The Hotel was clean and Turkish salad in the morning Fresh.

The towels were old and grey and the linen smelt of smoke
We visited in winter and a large portion of the hotel was closed up and there were few guests. The breakfast was ok but the location was good and we were able to walk to the beachfront for dinners.

Good people. Clean room, very close to everything!! The lady at the entrance was very kind. we asked to change our room because the internet was not working well and they did it right away. I highly recommend it!!
