We stayed at 3rd floor, there was no elevator, if you are with luggage it will be bit difficult to climb. Room is tiny. There was no toothpaste in the room. Main drawback ( but it is only in room with separate beds N305 ) is sink was not in the bathroom, it was outside, near the beds), please see photos It was very noisy outside and rooms are not soundproof

Location is very good, nearby station is Basmane, from which you can go to Adnan Menderes airport, Ephes, Pamukkale and so on, Kultur Park is also very close, a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. Staff is very helpful and smiley. Breakfast is good, but was the same during all staying time. Room was cleaned everyday. 88 bar next to the hotel was very good, where we had our breakfast and watched football and grabbed a bear at night.

Stairs all the way up. 2 of our group fell down a few stairs, its a spiral and slippery so just take your time and be careful on the stairs. The AC was not working in our room, you could not set it lower than 24C either.

Breakfast room was really nice, the food was really good as well. They had good variety and everyone in our group could find something they were interested in eating. The staff were really friendly and I enjoyed talking with them.

The hotel doesn't have a lift so if you don't like lots of stairs request a room on the 1st or 2nd floor. We are a young(ISH) couple so this wasn't a problem for us

All staff are really nice especially the housekeepers. The breakfast is amazing, plenty of choice and lovely atmosphere. The rooms, ok a little small but perfect if you want somewhere comfortable after a long day. Tea and coffee in rooms with a small fridge and a safe. One of the nicest boutique hotels in this area. 10 minute walk to the waterfront, 5 minutes to the kulturpark. Plenty of places to eat and have coffee. The restaurant connected to the hotel (88 keys) is beautiful,calm and great coffee. There is also a really nice communal space on the 2nd floor. WiFi is strong even on the top floor.You really feel at home here, we didn't want to leave.

Basic rooms can be small so book a larger room to get more space. Building does not have an elevator so it may be difficult for older travelers or those with mobility issues.

Hotel is close to supermarkets and restaurants. The main train station is nearby for making day trips or connecting to other major cities. Metro and tram stops are a short walking distance away. Staff is very helpful and breakfast was excellent. Interior layout of hotel is good.

The breakfast, and the breakfast area was very nice! The atmosphere in the morning is especially beautiful with the music playing!!! It is one of the best when staying at the Piano Hotel.

No elevator, but they help you with your luggage so this wasn't a problem for us. Food labels would have been nice on the breakfast buffet, as many items were new to us and the buffet staff did not speak English.

We stayed at the Piano Hotel in Izmir three nights in early October 2023. The hotel is in a good location as you can easily walk to restaurants, the Kemeralti market, the Agora, the waterfront promenade (Kanok), Saint Polycarp Church, etc. A couple of the pleasant front desk staff spoke excellent English. Our room number was 108, a Standard Double Room with twin beds and a city view. Very small room, pretty good (sound proof) windows, and good darkening curtains. Plenty of hot water and a good shower. Extensive breakfast buffet with indoor and outdoor seating.

Bathroom maintenance can be improved.

Nice hotel, great for budget travelers. The room was clean, a bit smaller than it looks on photos, the staff at the reception area was nice, special thanks to the young lady who help me with the bus transportation saving me money and time.

The staff was phenomenal! Always helpful and smiling. They never lost patience with my questions. The breakfast was out of this world. So much local variety and delicious. I didn’t expect it to be sooooo good.
