Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GeorgiaMy daughter first time in her life saw cockroaches in the room, so she wasn't happy :) Aircon was old and noisy, I couldn't use it during night, as it was too loud.
Wonderful territory with a lot of greens, squirrels and good swimming pools. We enjoyed buffet and a la cart restaurant as well. Staff was extremely friendly.

United Arab EmiratesAgain we had a fantastic stay in Kustur but if I have to mention a few points that can be improved: Wifi was not great but I understand that this is not only in Kustur. No coffee machine in the room (I need coffee first thing in the morning). TV was rather small for the size of the room (but again we were not there to watch tv). Slides were only open for a couple of hours a day (I felt it was sufficient). Kids club was more for younger kids it would have been nice to have something organized for 6+ kids like activities to play football / basketball etc together.
I stayed in Kustur with my 2 boys (6 and 9). We truly enjoyed the room which was spacious and with an excellent view of all the greenery around. The boys played football on the grass and fed the squirrels. The food and variety of food was excellent (always something else for dinner with stations of pide, doner etc.). Snacks were repetitive but super yummy and why change a winning formula ;) I would recommend for families. There were enough sunbeds for everyone and the animation team was wonderful (not pushy). Every evening another show. The slides were great for the kids and enough space in the swimming pools (although you will always have people who will try to reserve with their towels). The visitors were mainly from France, Belgium and The Netherlands. I would visit again and recommend this hotel if you want the all inclusive experience without feeling like you are in a huge factory (no long queues at the foods stations etc.). The staff was super friendly and always there to help.

United KingdomWi-fi was terrible within the room when the doors and windows closed. Also mobile internet was not an option, even though I have roaming package it only had enough signal for edge connection. It's advertised to have a kids club but it's more of a nursery. We expected to have something suitable for our 6 and 8 yo kids but that wasn't the case.
The room is specious and very clean. The food was generally very good. If it's not a windy day, the sea is even better than the pools. Waterpark was real fun. The evening shows were generally well prepared. The staff was very kind.

BulgariaMy brand new car was hit by a car next to mine and security explained to me that it wasn't the car next to mine. The behavior of one of the employees was unprofessional. If you visit the hotel, don’t travel with your car.
We liked the entertainment, the pools and the surrounding - there was lots of greenery, trees and squirrels. The personal at the restaurants were very polite and friendly.

Hungary-the daily cleaning could be better -the seashore is not very big, but at least it has direct access from the hotel through a tunnel, and they have sun beds and beach umbrellas for your use (free-of-charge), and some possibilities for water activities -the spa services are quite expensive
-the perfect place that you don't need to leave if you want to have a relaxing holiday -the all inclusive board and the food options are excellent and has intensive selection -different kinds of pools, especially the turquoise pool and its surroundings in the back part

United KingdomWiFi is not in every room. And in some locations, e.g. near the pool or snack bar, coverage is not that good. Drinks could be better. Like most of the all-inclusive hotels, using the cheapest local drinks possible.
Rather than everyone stuffing into an apartment, staying in separate houses like a village is a huuuuuge plus. Waking up to birds and squirrels, seeing hedgehogs during night... Complete getaway from city hustle. Can easily say family friendly. Kids pool is large and amenities are well.

United KingdomThe reception Staff was rude and they want to charge for every little thing, you need an extra key its 10 euro. I and my partner had one key whereas everywhere they give me 2 keys.
The food was good, the swimming pools were good and the walk around was good. The Staff apart from the reception was amazing.

United Arab EmiratesUnfortunately Wi-Fi was poor. You need to go specific location (close to reception) to catch good connection. Also slippery surface at the pool. It would be great to find a way how to cover it with something to avoid any inconvenience.
Everything was really great: staff, food, activities 👍🏻can say that it exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed our vacation in Kustur Hotel. Definitely will come back 💕

SwedenI wouldn’t say that it is a disadvantage for the hotel but so that you know, it is a bit far away from the center of a big city, so there is one market place outside the hotel, but I wouldn’t say that there is that much to choose and the prices are higher than normally.
It was the first time we visited this hotel, so i was a bit worried before our stay, but it became better than expected, so that we extended our stay there .There were a lot of German- and French-speaking visitors, but of course you could communicate in English and Turkish. The area of the hotel is very big and very beautiful with one and two-story houses with several rooms in each of them. It looks like a small village in the beautiful park.We had a room in a one-story house, big enough and with a big and comfortable bathroom with big shower cabin. The staff everywhere (reception, cleaning, restaurant, bars) all were very friendly and helpful. On the area one big and … three if I remember right small pools with an entertainment (gymnastics) around it. And for those like us the see was within few minutes walk on a private for the hotel beach. Very clean beach and amazing clean sea (just so that you know in the morning almost never waves, in the late afternoon and evening most usually waves in the sea) Hotel gives you beach towels, there are sunbeds and sun umbrellas for free. The food was delicious and in a good variety for different tastes, including barbecues.Different bars where you can find snacks, ice-cream and drinks (without and with alcohol).Staff as I said very friendly and always very polite.A small shopping place with one small market, one souvenirs and summer/beach-clothes shop and a little jewelry shop with a very pleasant couple(Nora and Cemal) who own the shop. You can book a Tui tour to Pamukkale and another tour from Anex to Efesus and Virgin Mary’s house. The last one is absolutely worth to take!We had a lovely guide Alena who told us a lot about a different historical events and legends during our ride and at the places itself. So it is a beautiful place to travel to and relax.

United KingdomPeople could be more professional; some stuff were very kind, helpful and know what they are doing whereas the others have no clue at all. Also I did not enjoy swimming which was a real disappointment because see was supposed to be blue flagged but it wasn't clean (there were plastic bags, plastic glasses and sometimes even foam) and the pools were too crowded.
Location and facilities were great with all the trees and squirrels going around. Food was ok but could be better.
