Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaKarahayit doesnt seem to be a major tourist town, meaning busses and or public transport options might be a little limited, so plan ahead of time and having some basic language skills will make your stay more rewarding. Still a beautiful place to visit to get away from the main tourist traps for a couple of days.
The traditional Turkish style breakfast is fantastic, portion sizes are very generous. If you're looking to get away from the main tourist areas than Mucize in Karahayit could be the place for you. Staff are friendly and willing to help with arranging tours, ballon rides, airport transfers and answer other questions you might have. While you're in the town be sure to visit the Halıcı Ahmet Urkay Arkeoloji & Etnografya Müzesi (at the town entrance)

IndiaThe place is a family run business and they are very welcoming. The host explained us about the location and about Pamukkale. The property is located at about 3km from Pamukkale North Gate and at walking distance from the main Bazaar. The breakfast spread was the highlight. Home made food and very fresh fruits and cheese.

Excellent hotel! Two pools - one regular and one with thermal water. Clean, nice, friendly. The thermal water comes directly to the bathroom in your room. The parking lot is next to the hotel. Luxurious breakfast! The market is nearby. A forest with a lane for bicycles and running is in 100 meters from the hotel. We will surely come back to the hotel!

New ZealandDidn't enjoy how many people smoke, even while having breakfast, but it's pretty much the same everywhere.
Great pool and spa area. Decent hotel, family operated. Organised a very cheap balloon ride for us, €50 each! The breakfasts were huge! Really enjoyed a cool off in the pool and soaking in the unique spa area. Excellent value for money, would definitely recommend to others.

CanadaThe staff were amazing! We had a piece of lost luggage and when it was finally found by TA, they drove all the way to the airport in the dark to pick it up for us! They were so helpful in every way- from taking us to the market/bazaar, giving advice on visiting Pamukkale, and don't get me going on the breakfast, which in EVERY WAY lived up the the hype. Slept comfortably in a quiet, peaceful setting with mountsin views when we woke up. I would definitely stay here again.

This was the best place i've ever stayed. We felt very welcomed when we arrived. There weren't many people so we had the pool and thermal water for ourselves. It's a very beautiful and quiet place, ideal if you're staying a day or two to go to the hierapolis. The son of the owner even gave us a free ride to the hierapolis! And they kept our baggage with them the last day and enjoy the pool if we wanted, even after check out. Also they serve dinner there and it's very good. We had fish and i recommend it. I'd definitely go back to this place.

New ZealandLike most people, we stayed here to visit the terraces, ruins and pools of Pamukkale and it was perfect for what we wanted. The town is pretty run down because the vast majority of visitors arrive and leave in a day (no money spent), and while on arrival (late at night) this property looked a little run down too, the super helpful staff more than made up for that. Our room was clean and comfortable, the pool was clean and as you will have seen from other reviews, the breakfast is stupendous! Overall excellent value too.

United Arab Emirates-besides a bar of soap and toilet paper there are no supplies in the bathroom so come prepared (bring shampoo/hair dryer if you need one) -the bathtub drain didnt work very well but i guess it’s because of the highly mineralized water that builds up deposits inside the pipes
-super friendly family run business -the breakfast was probably the best we have had in Turkey so far; homemade with love and care. Especially, their menemen was so good. -Pool was being cleaned when we arrived; they take care of the facilities and it really shows -thermal pool was relaxing and fun to try -they were understanding and let us check out later than usual

United StatesThe hotel is located about 10-15 minutes from Pamukkale by car. It's in a quiet neighborhood. We liked the family owners of the hotel. Only one person speaks English though. They are very welcoming and sweet people! We got an upgraded room, because it wasn't the season. Which was a very clean, simple, cozy and warm.
