Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceThe rooms are not well isolated. We can hear the water running from other rooms. One guest decided to throw a party until 3am and the staff didn't do anything until we went down to complain
The location was perfect and the bathtub with thermal water was a great plus

Slovakiahotel was surrounded by backyards which were quite messy and dirty, but this is not hotel's fault
all pools and hamam open 24/7. there are outdoor and indoor pools. OUT: one larger+kids pool 32°C + smaller one filled with thermal water 39°C IN: larger one+kids heated ~32°C + thermal jacuzzi 37°C. our room was equipped with floor heating 😁 and in the bathroom instead of standard low shower basin was a small "pool" you could fill in with thermal water - there was a separate tap with crazy hot thermal water

United KingdomNot much to complain about really. The ladder in the thermal hot pool in the basement was rusty in places and a little loose. There was a cockroach in the men's shower. Nothing I couldn't handle.
The hotel was in a central location with eating places and shops all around. The rooms were comfortable and the staff helpful. The pool and hot tub in the basement were a lovely way to relax when we came back in the evening. Pamukkale and Hierapolis were only a short drive away

United KingdomWe paid off season prices and at this price were happy. Its no luxury but it’s functional. It’s lovely to have a bath with thermal water in your room, and the thermal bath outside was lovely too. The spa downstairs was very dingy and we feel requires a lot of maintenance. Breakfast wasn’t the best compared to other hotels we have stayed at - eg no variety of eggs offered. Nice coffee machine though! This hotel is next to a lovely local community and market where you can really feel like you’re experiencing Turkey more so than in Pamukkale itself. This hotel is 10 min drive to Pamukkale where the entrances are. If you would rather be next to the touristy hubub, staying in Pamukkale itself may be better and easier. Our balcony faced what looked like a rubbish dump behind the hotel which was a shame, but overall given the price, we were happy at this hotel. It’s a good budget option, esp if you like thermal pools! Thank you for our stay :)

TurkeyThe ventilation grid in bathroom was very dirty, it should be cleaned better
1. The room was just great: a lot of mirrors, a big bed and a nice bathroom with termal water! 2. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were also really nice. 3. SPA center: massage from Ziba was just perfect! Better than in every other place in the world from my experience!

They have the coolest swimming pool and thermal pools on the property - inside and outside. It’s also situated quite centrally to a vibrant market. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the kids loved the ambience of the LED lights.

TaiwanThe pools in the basement needs more ventilation(so we didn't use the spa). And the ourdoor pools may need to be cleaned up more regularly.
The staff was friendly. And it's one of the few hotel gave us the exact type of room we booked during our 2 weeks trip in Turkey.....The outdoor pool was small but warm as described. And there is interesting eco-friendly set up in the room-- the aircon will turn off automatically if you doesn't close the floor-to ceiling window to the balcony properly.(some might find it annoying)

United KingdomUnfortunately, we had some troubles at night because we could hear the other rooms that were loud around us. if you also struggle with sleep, this might be a disadvantage.
Rooms and facilities are very nice! Multiple swimming pools are accessible and this is quite a gem. Breakfast was not my favourite in turkey, but still one must recognise there was bread with several cheese-veggies-marmalade options as well as cereals.

very good location close to Pamukkale. Nice and big room. SPA treatment is available on site but only in the evening and you have to book it in advance. They have small indoor mineral pool but it was much more nice to use outdoor heated pool suitable for swimming and a small hot mineral pool outside too (It doesn't look clean, but pleasure of using ~26C big pool and ~40C mineral pool in cold weather was absolutely nice!!! Breakfast is not rich but definitely enough to start a day.

GreeceUnderfloor heating was not adjustable (reception told this to us) and thus the room temperature should be at least 22-23C, which made sleeping difficult. In the morning at least the heating was turned off but we felt too cold since we had the balcony door 10cm-open during evening, as the extreme heat prevented us from sleeping. Curtain/roller problem in room did not prevent the sunlight from entering in the morning and wake up us early Beakfast at 09:30am lacked some material, which by the way should be warm and they were cold.
Big room with balkony, nice beds, silent place, very nice swimming pool outside and inside, good breakfast, very good staff

LuxembourgThe pictures are really not representative of their facilities. Some of the pictures do not even belong to the hotel, for example the travertines or the stone pictures from the village. The hotel is super warm, in fact too hot to comfortably sleep even in winter because there is no ac or heating control and it is warmed by thermal water non stop. The price for hamam massage was a rip off and they charge different price for tourists vs. locals. We found this very dishonest. Also very very poor noise insulation. All doors banging at hotel have potential to wake you up in the morning, especially during breakfast time as neighbouring rooms head for breakfast.
Very helpful polite staff. Reasonable breakfast. Despite small size of hotel, large rooms and functionally satisfactory thermal pools. One thing I would recommend to hotel management is to take proper pictures of spa areas, pools, rooms and hotel. Very Clean.
