Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing really....
This is a family run hotel, which is spotlessly clean and well looked after. The garden and pool are imaculate, and the whole feeling of the hotel is a family home. It is located just a few minutes walk from the town center and all of the restaurants. The owner is happy to do laundry - and charged us 400 Tl for a whole machine load to be washed and dried. Fantastic.

United StatesBeds are typical Turkish hard.
Lovely family run hotel. They put their heart into it for sure. Friendly , overly helpful and caring. They all were kind, spoke English and looked you in the eye to speak. Upon arrival, the bus driver dumped us and we couldn’t get internet to work, nor could we see a taxi. I called the hotel and the woman answering said no problem, my brother will come and get you. That’s how our stay went.

United KingdomThe bathroom was a little dated. Unfortunately, the shower pressure and heat was fluctuating a lot which made it quite difficult for my children to use.
Fantastic staff. It looks like a family business run by people who really care about their guests. Most staff spoke English and were very helpful. The room were very well kept and they used quality bed sheets and comfortable beds. We didn't opt for breakfast but what the other guests were having looked delicious. There are quite a few restaurants 5 minute walk away, which open for breakfast around 9:30-10:00am. We opted to explore the food and restaurants nearby. There was a fridge in the room, which is a very welcome sight for us! The location was brilliant. Quite close to the travertines (~15-20 minute walk, but we preferred to drive) and national park (10 minute walk).

BelgiumNothing!
This is a small hotel run by an extremely friendly and helpful family. The rooms are very spacious and really beautiful. Breakfast is fantastic: real Turkish food with a lot of different tastes. We experienced it ourselves: at every moment of day AND night a creative solution is found for every problem. And always with a smile coming from the heart! We surely return to Sirius hotel!

United StatesNothing! it’s a small walk to town but if this “mature woman” traveling alone can do it then anyone can! Besides, it avoids the noise of town.
It is a hard working family that owns the hotel. Everyone works as a team and Mel speaks fluent English but I feel his attention to the customer is WAY BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY! His kindness and willingness to help is a refreshing blessing! everything was spotless. The breakfast served was plentiful and the price is right! The pool is cleaned every day and if you get up early enough, the fly over of the hot air balloon’s is a sight to behold!

GermanyYou can easily hear in the room all the noises coming from the common area. For example, there was a little kid playing and people talking until late during our stay so it was not very easy for us to sleep.
Very good location, rooms had good space, breakfast was good, people were very friendly. It's a family business and everyone is willing to help The price quality was very good and the hotel has been practical for us. We could easily walk to restaurants and the park were you can see Pamukkale.

TurkeyRooms are definetely not 30 sq.m., maybe 20. No coffee at the breakfast, only Turkish tea which by itself is actually excellent. Attempt at price gouging at the reception, claiming that Booking.com price is in cash. Paid with the card after a moment of haggle.
Very clean rooms. everything is in working condition. Quiet location, welcoming hosts. A good deal for the price if you are not fussy. Standard continental breakfast with a Turkish flair. 800 meters to the baths entrance, no mosques around.

United StatesRoom soundproof is inexistent and hearing people talking late at night was terrible. The floor makes noise as you walk (thanks that We were in the 2nd floor)Bed was not comfortable at all, and the dark brown bed blanket did not make the feeling it was clean. Internet was very weak. The towel hook was broken. The property is not friendly for disable people so this is something to be considered. Breakfast is served starting @8am, a little late for those want to be early to visit the travertines.
