We truly enjoyed the location, even with it being a train ride distance from the old area of the city. The staff were accommodating and friendly. They shared a printed guideline for breakfast, lunch and dinner along with places of interest to visit. Our room was large, clean, modern and well lit. It has air-conditioning and is comfortable. The background of this restored 200 year-old building is shared with you in a brochure. “The Story Pera Hotel” Lovely!

Fantastic hotel, beautiful room, comfortable, has elevator, and staff is extraordinary and understands English very well. The location is perfect, right next to Istiklal street, Metro, and the Beyoglu tunnel, 5 minutes from tram, 15 minute walk from Taksim Square. Perfect place to stay in Istanbul.

A shelf by a mirror outside the bathroom to dry my hair would’ve been useful. A drying up cloth and dish-wash liquid for washing our cups as we had a sink, and a towel rail outside the bathroom to dry our towels ! All of which would help to make it even better.

Proximity to restaurants and helpfulness of staff. The room was pretty - loved the dressing gowns for our use! The hotel felt safe and homely and it was very smart. Some of the suggestions from Ufuk were perfect especially Varuna and Elios! It was a great stay which is why we’ve booked to go back!

Ehh a little bit noisy with such a central location but that's how the city is "alive" :) I'll go again for this hotel on my next trip in Istanbul!

Amazing helpfull taff! They thought about all details, charger in the room, router for the guests, complimentary kurabiye (biscuits) fresh from the bakery every morning, bottle of water etc. And they offer much more! I'm very much impressed, service is like 5 stars hotel :) Location is perfect for a real Istanbul experience.

It has a great location with major tourist attractions at walking distance and easy access to public transport. Plus the staff is super friendly and always ready to help. The assistance they give regarding information is useful. The router arranged was super helpful as well. They arranged for pick up from airport as well. Rooms are comfortable n big. It was fell stocked with snacks n bar item. Hotel arranged for cake as well for my birthday

The standard rooms have no natural light. There is only a window to an airshaft. The rooms are very well lit and spacious, and I only used the rooms to rest, and the lack of windows made the rooms impervious to the neverending street bustle outside.

Absolutely the best location to get the most out of istanbul in 5 days. The rooms were surprisingly quiet for such a busy area. Very nice old building right off Istiklal, steps away from the Sishane Metro.

Our room was located to the front of the hotel so we did pick up street noise. Nothing a set of ear plugs couldn't resolve.

The hotel is in a great location just off the main pedestrian street of Istiklal street, and a 2 min walk to the nearest underground of Shishane. It was an approx 5 min stroll (down hill) to Galata tower and then a further 5 mins down to Galata bridge. The room was a good size even though there were three of us staying. Lots of shops, restaurants and bars in the local vicinity. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay providing recommendations of places to visit and eat with insider tips too. Restaurant recommendation in particular is the quirky Varuna Gezgin Cafe opposite the hotel that is great for Turkish breakfast, drinks and evening meal. The hotel also provided us with a wifi dongle to take outside the hotel so we were never without internet. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff for being so accommodating, friendly and for the great recommendations they provided.

San and Mustafa Kemal (Mk) provided over the top service! San recommended a restaurant then walked us over to make sure they gave us a table with a great view. The Deluxe Double Room is a great value. It is charming and large for a city center room.

Everything was great!

The location is great, the team is amazing and everyone was super nice and helpful. The hotel is small and cozy and located in a historical building. We wanted separate beds because my bf has a snoring issue, so they made it no problem. Everyone on the hotel team is eager to help.

Although location is pretty good given you are in the city center, near Taksim Square, the area is a little crowded, too centric, if that can be a bad thing :( Also, some noise in the area during the nights. Room has excellent windows but there is no way to avoid all the noise to get into the room.

Room was really good, people at the reception was charming and the cleaning of the room was excellent. A good shower too. In general, everything was good with the hotel.

Very warm welcome from the friendly and very helpful staff. They upgraded our rooms which was a nice surprise. Large comfortable room with good selection of drinks and snacks in the mini-bar. Complimentary bottles of water. The hotel location is great. They gave us a complimentary mobile router to have wifi while going out. Excellent breakfast in the restaurant directly opposite the hotel.

It couldn't be better! The staff was so helpful....directing us to a restaurant and so friendly. Our room was so perfect and clean with fabulous bedding!!!! Great location and so many restaurants nearby!!!
