When I arrived, the young lady near the reception tried to sell me an unnecessary membership. She was very persistent, but I declined.

It was hard to get coffee in the morning. I ate at the buffet in the morning and sat outside ( very peaceful) but I had to go before the coffee arrived. It would have been very helpful to have a shuttle bus to and from the airport.

I was very happy during the stay, just the checkout process put me a little bit off, it took maybe 50 mins to checkout. There was a queue of people checking in, each taking long time, people in the q were getting annoyed and started to cut in the line. Stuff didn't stop them and serviced them normally... Can be very noisy in the rooms located above the street, so make sure to take room with pool/inner view, if you don't want to hear cars driving like crazy all day.

Very good location of the hotel, close to the city center and other attractions. Great hotel quality, it is proper 5 star hotel. Friendly staff. Fast internet 100mb/s up and down.

When we ordered coffee and cake at the patisserie in the lobby, our bill was left on the table with our food. The attitude as if to say don't order more or get up and leave was very absurd and disturbing.

The service for Scappi (roof top bar) was very slow, so slow that one night after waiting 35mins for a cocktail we decided to leave.

Service around the pool was amazing. They were always more than happy to bring drinks over to you. Reception were very helpful in letting us know where’s best to go for food and booked us in for some massages.

The airconditioning nog very good functioning. No really fresh orange juice at breakfast but the choices for breakfast were great!

I received multiple calls and emails prior to my stay to fix something or other that should have already been contained in my booking. I don’t think whatever they were was ever resolved and my breakfast was not pre booked. While my room had an ironing board, there was no iron.

My room was very comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic. The location was very convenient to access the historic Smyrna Agora by foot. The local food was really good and it was very easy to navigate to from the hotel.

Payment of the whole price of the stay directly at the check-in is not really understandable and necessary, why not at the check-out like at other 5-star hotels ?

Superb hotel with excellent service ! Very customer oriented and dedicated concierge team - every wish was fulfilled. The housekeeping team was very flexible and nicely taking care of our executive suite and our executive room. The staff at the breakfast and in the executive lounge was very polite and the food quality was really excellent. The location of the hotel including the park around was beautiful and really in the heart of Izmir.

We initially booked a room with a garden view and had to wait a day to move into our preferred room. We also had some challenges securing a car seat for a tour and almost had to cancel.

The staff were extremely helpful and the restaurants made it easy to find food options. We rarely left the hotel for meals. We look forward to returning!

Somewhat dated, business-y decor. Staff are extremely polite, attractive and helpful. but many seem to be trainees not able to deal with anything unscripted. Information about all but the most obvious tourist attractions is limited and not necessarily accurate.

Older hotel beautifully maintained, everything clean and in working order, wonderful service, little touches of luxury. Extensive, well cared-for garden courtyards. Serious attention to security.
