Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

We stayed 4 nights and couldn't be happier with the hotel. The location is amazing, just a few steps away from the main visiting places that allowed us to be there first ones in the morning and avoid standing in lines. The street is very quiet and the bed was suuuuper comfortable! Good breakfast and nice staff. Highly recommended.

United KingdomBreakfast could have been better, compared to other Turkish boutique hotels. The stairs, unfortunately, killed me everyday and this will probably be the only reason why I won't return, unfortunately.
The location is Amazing, just 4 minutes walking to Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque and Sultanahmet tram stop. The bedroom is beautifully decorated, spacious and with the best bed, pillows and sheets possible. There were all the amenities that you could think of (iron and iron board, mini fridge, etc). The bathroom was great too, including the quality amenities and towels on it. Service was fantastic and they even brought us room service with no extra cost one day, which was so nice!

United KingdomLoved it all!
We were so impressed with everything. The room was spacious and immaculate with a large and very comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom with a huge shower. Turkish breakfast was delicious and we ate outside one sunny day and inside in the restaurant when it was a bit chilly. All the staff were so warm and friendly and always happy to help with anything. They organised a boat trip for us on the Bospherous which we loved and would highly recommend. A fantastic position to walk to all the sites too.

AustriaThe only "downside" is at the same time its biggest upside: the closeness of Hagia Sophia, which is very loud in the morning (4-5am), but it is to be expected in any part of the city I believe. Just close the windows at night :) We did not mind the same breakfast every morning, but maybe some of you need a bit more diversity.
The location is perfect, 3 min walk to Hagia Sophia/blue mosque/Topkapi. The room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. Gorgeous bathroom. The staff genuinely friendly and helpful, every praise to the staff, we fell in love with the turkish people! All in all we would definitely recommend this hotel and will gladly stay here again!

Central location from where you can walk to all the main attractions. Staff are great, friendly and helpful. The cleanliness is impeccable! The size of the room was huge, as was the bed! We slept so well in luxurious bedding and pin drop silence. The bathroom was also big and well stocked. We will surely stay here again when we next visit Istanbul. Thank you Tin Suites for making our first trip to Istanbul so comfortable 😊

Saudi ArabiaThe only downside were the steep stairs and no lift, but it was good exercise to go up and down. There is nothing else not to like!
Amazing location for Blue Mosque and other old city sites as well as tram and restaurants. We had a large room with balcony and it was very clean, newly decorated and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

UruguayNothing cames to my mind.
Quiet, clean and comfortable room, with enough space and windows towards the street. The breakfast was very good, on the restaurante next door. The service was also very good. However the highest point is the location; it is probably the best in the city if you are there for turism looking to visit the most popular places. Just one block away from Sultanahmet square

Comfort: the room is beautiful and has all the amenities available; water was replenished every day and the reception was extremely helpful. CroatiaThe stay was too short! :D
This hotel is sincerely THE BEST and I would recommend it to everyone who is planning on visiting Istanbul! Starting from day 1 the staff was welcoming, helpful and so kind to us. We booked a king size bedroom with a balcony. It matches with the pictures from Booking - what you see is what you get. The room and the hotel in general are clean 10/10, smell really nice and new. The bed is just wow, haven't slept in such a comfy bed probably ever. You can watch TV from the bed or from the couch since the TV rotates (how cool is that?!) and there are also Netflix and Disney+. The bath feels like a hamam because of its size and the marbled design. We didn't have a "view" what we saw as a positive thing. We enjoyed the privacy and since that was the back side of the hotel, we were watching cats play so that was our view :) The breakfast is a standard one, you get your own platter filled with cheese, olives, fresh veggies, kaymak or butter and honey or jam with eggs on the side. It was really good. Also we have to mention the location - you are located in the city center, 2 minutes away from the Basilica Cistern and the Hagia Sophia, which is also right next to the Blue Mosque and Topkapı Palace. Around the hotel you can find restaurants, grocery markets, shops, cafés and anything you might need really. The tram station for the T1 line that drives to Sirkeci (Marmaray station and train station) and Eminönü (ferry station) is 5 minutes away from the hotel. And you are maybe 10 minutes away from the Grand Bazaar, which we visited when it was raining for a day and it was cold outside.

RussiaThe hotel doesn't have an elevator, it wasn't a problem for us, but for someone it might be. In this case you should ask an accommodation in lower floor or be ready.
Perfect hotel. Very nice, clean, cozy. Everything is like at photos. Kettle, air condition, TV. Every day new bottle of water, tea, coffee. Great bed - huge, hard enough, really big blanket. Wonderful bathroom with a lot of towels, shampoo, shower gel, balsam and body lotion, as well good semi-professional hair dryer. It was a bit cold and not heater, but I used AC, so temperature was nice. Electronic key and just two rooms on the floor so it was so calm without any noises. Staff is great, so friendly, nice and kind.
