Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BulgariaSome of the facilities were a little worn out, my friends in the other rooms mentioned the shower wasn't operating normally and was a little broken, but this could be easily fixed. My room was on the corner above the street which was a little busy and loud until midnight, so the people whose sleep is light may be disturbed.
Location of this hotel is quite central, everything is easily accessible on foot. I stayed here few years ago, hotel was brand new back then. It was my first choice for this visit of course. The staff are super helpful, friendly and welcoming. Assisted with storing 4 large bicycles inside overnight, instead of leaving them out on the street. Arranged free breakfast for all of us, although just one of the rooms had breakfast originally booked. Also arranged a baby cor for our son in our room as requested. Thumbs up for the staff!

Wheelchair-access with ground-floor rooms and wheelchair-access to the cafe. The beds were super comfortable The bathroom was spacious, clean and well-maintained, nice design. The heater works perfectly The fridge was cold The location was close to the historical area and tram/bus lines The two girls at the reception went above and beyond to help us and they also made a nice breakfast The AC was really efficient if a bit confusing.

IranThe first night we were checked in by a sir who were a young boy and really was polite and kind. But following days there were a mrs. Who were so cold and they told something and may think i cant undrestand turkish. I think it was not a polite way to a guest who was writing you a kind comment on your memorial notebook.
The building is an old one who has been renovated and i liked it. The room we have reserved wasn’t ready because they said that the window had been broken and the other room was really boring without any light. We had baby and that room was biger but not fresh and lovely so we take the little room on the ground floor in the same price as the big one. By the way we were ok.

It is a clean and friendly place to stay in Eskisehir. The staff was kind and helpful. They accepted our request to enter the room earlier than the standard check-in time. It is close to the old parts of the city (~ 10 min walk). It satisfied my expectations for a night stay.

GreeceThe hotel is wonderful. There's nothing we didn't like in it. Only parking space can be a problem... But there is a car park a few minutes away.
Very convenient location in the city centre, just a few minutes on foot from Odunpazar. All you need is accessible on foot (shops, tram, cafes, etc). Quiet neighbourhood on a pedestrian road. Very stylish and functional room in a very nicely renovated traditional building. Modern decoration. Spacious and bright. Big windows. Comfortable bed. Enough space for luggage. Spacious bathroom. Very stylish and pleasant lobby. Polite and friendly staff at the reception.

TaiwanThere is a tea house nearby the hotel and the guests are noisy all day long till midnight. But that’s not the hotel’s fault.
Location-all attractions in Eskisehir are within walking distance Layout of the room I like to sit by the window to read There are many windows and sufficient blind so that you can decide how much light you want. A very lovely place!

United KingdomDepending on what time you want to go to bed, the big corner room might be less convenient, because it overlooks a cafe down the street where people are talking until midnight or so. Apart from this external noise the hotel was completely quiet at night, which was good.
The hotel was easy to locate, and I received a very nice welcome from the women at reception. It was not far from the tram stop to then go to the otogar/bus station. The room was extremely spacious and bright with windows on two sides, and seating at the window which was very nice. It was good to have a little fridge, plus kettle and tea/sugar in the room. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom, and plenty of toiletries. The bed was large and comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. I was only able to stay one night but it was a nice stay, so I would recommend both the hotel and the city itself.

TurkeyThe windows in our room is slightly opened and when we try to close them it was quite hard to close, and we just leave it be but we’re a bit bothered by the sound from outside. Fortunately the street wasn’t too crowded so we slept peacefully. Also the AC heater wasn’t working properly so we just turned AC off. Luckily the duvet was warm enough for us.
The place is clean and neat, near the bus stop and tram line. Also quite near with Odunpazarı Modern Müze which is nice. The receptionist was veerryy nice, although my turkish language is broken😂
