To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

LatviaThe hotel is really like a hidden jewel in the center of New York. It is amazingly quiet, considering it is just around the corner from Times Square. It is a great location; all major attractions are nearby. The staff is excellent; you can really feel welcome there. It is like a home away from home. Breakfast is sort of basic; however, you still have more or less everything. Tony's di Napoli bar and restaurant next door offers excellent food and drinks.

A very very very minor point is that they could probably do with a short instruction sheet on how to use the air-conditioner. That said, the staff were so helpful that if we had been really bothered, they would have come and sorted out for us straight away.
Super location and very intimate “family“ feel. Almost actually in Times Square. A super second floor with free drinks and snacks 24 hours a day where they also served a continental breakfast. Superb helpful staff.

Loved that the moment we walked in, they held the door for us. Loved the staff! Everyone was welcoming, helpful and friendly. Loved the warmth of the decor. Loved the snacks that were provided. Loved the real coffee cups. Loved that it was quiet, yet so close to time square. Loved the robe. When we go back, we most definitely will stay again and will recommend to others!

United States of AmericaThe fact that the rooms are very clean, decorative, in great condition is a great start to choosing this hotel. Additionally, the lounge area was a great place to have breakfast or meet with friends. I liked that it was available all day. The Casablanca is in a great location, close to Times Square, easy walk to many restaurants, the Intrepid, shopping. Even if you had to take a taxi to shop, it's not far. Also, Tony DiNapoli's, next door, is a great place for dinner or happy hour.

United States of AmericaThe floors creak because it is an older hotel, and that can sometimes wake you up in the middle of the night if the people above you are walking around. But that's to be expected for an older building, and frankly, it's just part of the hotel's quirky charm.
The location was great for walking to all the Broadway shows. The room was large and included breakfast. The staff was very helpful and friendly. And although it is an older hotel, the Casablanca really had a lot of charm and attention to detail. We would certainly stay there again!

This is an old fashioned hotel but very comfortable. The staff are superb and could not do enough to help. The 2nd floor all day snack facilities were such a welcome after a long day sightseeing or shopping. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would go back in a heartbeat.
