The sofa bed was uncomfortable and there were alot of stains on the couch and pillows.

The first night in room 322 was unpleasant. The wind howled in the air conditioning unit and made sleep difficult. My night stand light did not work and I couldn't read. The bathroom sink only had hot water. We were moved to room 219 and the rest of the stay was very good.

We stayed here for a pool, and I saw they had one. Nowhere did I see online the pool was closed. Huge bummer for us for sure.

There are some small things that didn't have much of a negative effect on my stay. The AC was a bit noisy, there was no toilet brush, the shower drain didn't work 100% effectively but was okay. Complementary breakfast is unfortunately dull and not tasty, it is edible for up to 3 days max. Some additional choices would've been great. You can get breakfast right across the road from outside shops and restaurants. Some of the staff at the reception were not professional. Had trouble getting a receipt after I left a 100 USD cash security deposit as well as my invoice after my stay. It was solved eventually but communicating with some of the staff wore me out.(Especially the Indian guy who barely speaks English)

I was planning to stay at another place nearby but it was full for my dates. Traveled for a work-related emergency situation and stayed there for almost a week because the location was convenient for me. Seeing the previous comments about ants, I was a bit anxious about my stay before even getting there. Stayed on the 3rd floor and didn't have any ant problem. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Even though it was near the elevator, I didn't hear any disturbing noise from the hallway. Lots of parking space available.

There wasn't a bedside tabel on both sides of the bed to put glasses, jewelry and reading material. I had to put them on the floor because I couldn't quite reach the desk. We would prefer a walk in shower. The tub was older and could be replaced.

The best breakfast buffet that we've ever encountered in a chain hotel. Great options for everyone and a very attenetive attendant. The decorating seemed new and nice, but I don't know why they bothered with carpeting under the bed area. Laminate is so much easier to maintain.

I didn't like that you could not take the continental breakfast back to your room because they said they didn't want bugs but if I ordered delivery it would come to my room so it didn't make much sense to me.

The only not great thing was that the outlet on one side of the bed, by the nightstand, was controlled by a switch which also controlled the ambient light behind the headboard. If you turned off the ambient light, it turned off all the outlets, so no charging your phone or using a CPAP machine with the lights off.

Location was great, lots of options for food, rooms looked recently remodeled and were bright, comfortable, spacious, nice upgraded materials.

Reported a few ants in room. Waited for someone to come up as I was told to spray. No one showed. Again next day. Same. A few ants in eating area also. There was an inspection by the owners while we were there. They were not told evidently. The ants are harmless I get, but who wants them? To return we will inspect room first. Then on the weekend, the pool was closed for maintenance. That is when children were at the hotel. 🤔

Room size was great. Stayed 4 nights. Convenient to highway, stores, family. We will return in the future.

Because there were a lot of kids at the hotel, the sound bounced because lack of carpeting or curtains & they are kids and forget to use their “indoor voices”.

Could use more variety in the fruit not just apples. My cold water didn't work in the sink. When I left, I was called and told the air dryer was missing. I know I saw it in the bathroom was because I could see it when sitting on the toilet and I was on the toilet right before leaving to go into the frigid weather.

I didn't like the reconditioned process that they were at. It was noise, full of dust and long. It will end eventually but unfortunately, I was part of it.

The location is perfect. Even though the facility is on the middle of construction, it is a good place to stay.

Room is a little run down. Paint peeling and chips in the bathroom. Shampoo and conditioner left from the prior occupants, which means the bathroom was fully cleaned. I was in Elgin for my father in-laws funeral services. I was not made aware of the fact you have a funeral rate, until after I checked out. Which at that time was too late to receive the rate.
