Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaThis location is right towards the end of the touristy area so we did have to walk A LOT to get where we wanted to go, or Uber. Also, being on the side of the walkways the NOISE was terrible at night! We are usually not fussy with a bit of outside noise but the horns & sirens made it really difficult to sleep some nights. They do provide ear plugs which is good and they are meant to provide a white noise machine but our room didn’t have one. Also, no elevator which was a little annoying but we made do!
The rooms were very cute and it was nice and clean. We liked the security on the doors too which meant we didn’t need a key!

Israelour first room (101) was VERY SMALL, Is only for 1 persona maximum, and there was a problem in the bathroom that when we were in the shower the water came out, also the sink is very small, has little space to put stuff, there is only one coffe table in the room, they need to put another coffe table next to the bed and something in the bathroom to put personal stuff, room 101 was bigger but also the are is NOISY, the windows need to have something to isolate the noise from outside

NetherlandsMostly, it was very noisy outside. The hotel is located in the corner of two busy roads with loud traffic even at night. The barn door to the toilet did not close fully; there was always a gap of 3-4 fingers and thus no privacy. The code lock to the room was also no great as it doesn't always respond.
It was neat, clean and a cool design room. The hotel itself was quiet (but not the surroundings) and good shower. There was free water, tea and coffee. Walking distance to interesting places. The bed and pillows are comfortable.

United KingdomMy room was tiny with no drinks facilities. Checking in through sonder was hard work after booking through booking.com. A lady with a young child was trying to book in as I was leaving and really struggled. I helped as I could but no one there to help her.
