Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWas very dated in the bathroom. Water pressure was rubbish and shower wasn’t hot. The bathroom had mould too. Door lock was an electronic one which broke so had to get an actual key. And paying extra for the beach charge was a bit annoying as didn’t even use it.
Was close to the beach and restaurants, airport.

United KingdomThis US ploy to rip off more money by charging a “Resort Fee” needs to stop. It’s clear that it merely allows the property to appear to be better value than it actually is. $30pp/pn. This fee should be added to the price quoted by Booking.com so that people see the real price - not buried in small print way down the screens.
Jay the receptionist was brilliant. He really made the stay for us. Great location. Comfortable room and bed.

CanadaCute little place, comfry, friendly, and great location - only a block down from 5th and 2 blocks over from Ocean Drive, the start of Lummus park and the main strip of South Beach. Being just off the main streets and in the South Pointe neighborhood meant it was quieter at night, which is nice. The rooms were surprisingly quiet, since many of the old Art Deco buildings can have poor sound insulation, but we slept well. Had all the essentials. Bonus was the free Miami Beach trolley stops right outside, so it's easy to get to anywhere in Miami Beach, and the bus over to/from downtown Miami is just a block up at 5th and Washington Ave.

United StatesAs other mentions, the bathroom was janky with broken doors on vanity. The bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed. Our room was missing a coffee maker and we didn’t get it until the second day. We were on the first floor and could hear everything above us.
Location is awesome! Walk to beach, stores, dining etc. right in front of trolley stop. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Workers were great. Complementary happy hour every night. The room was really clean.

United StatesBig minus is poor water pressure and no steady hot water. It goes for two mins then running cold. You have to do some tricks to keep it running hot. Again, hard to regulate. Hard to wash my long hair or if you have kids… Resort charges 30$ per person fee for a chair on the beach and umbrella. You can rent it yourself for $15 each so still $45 for a couple. But hotel gives you towels and beach toys for kids. That’s convenient
Property is smaller than on pics but not a bad thing. It’s hardly any rooms/less neighbors/less noise. Super close to beach and restaurants and main drag on Ocean Drive and Collins Ave Coffee in the morning Free glass of wine for happy hour every day We got a king bed and a queen bed and still paid under $200. Plenty of sleeping space Cleaning service every day change of towels making beds super clean Toiletries Mini fridge in the room Big tv Quiet street except few cars at night might wake you up Was lucky with quiet neighbors except one night someone was talking on speaker phone loud at 3 am Easy to regulate ac/heat. Needed both during stay Has a comfortable blanket and couple robes Friendly staff. There are 3 people taking turns but 24//7

FinlandWhile the walls and windows keep the outdoors noise away rather well, the room door does a somewhat poor job of keeping out the noise from the echoing hallway. I didn't encounter any problems during my own stay, but I can see this being aggravating with the "right" kind of neighboring guests. Also note that the $30/pp/day resort fee isn't included in the booking price, you have to pay that separately on the desk.
The location is extremely convenient with plenty of stuff within walking distance and even more through the trolley stop located right next to the courtyard. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, I arrived some hours before check-in and reception let me use their beach gear while waiting. The room was also very pleasant to stay in, very clean and spacious.

FranceThe bed wasn’t super comfortable but I guess that is more a personal opinion :)
Great, quiet location 5 minutes walking distance to the beach, away from the crowded / busier hotels where people party. Access to a sunbed and umbrella at the beach is included in resort fees. Public transports (bus and the free trolley) stop just by the hotel which is very convenient. Well equipped bedroom and friendly and helpful staff. I recommend!

United Statesgreat staff and locale, just seemed like some of the products (shampoos, soaps, etc) were re-used. also, our comforter was too stiff, and we weren’t sure if it was too much starch or what. for a daily “resort” fee for both of us, I expected more with these details.

United StatesThe rooms could use an update. There is no overhead lighting making it very dark, even in the day. We had to prop open the bathroom door and open all the curtains just to see what we were doing. Also, our room was very damp and musty smelling. I know it’s humid in Miami but this was not good. The toilet paper was damp, our clothes were damp, the floor was damp.
This is a very cute European style hotel. In fact most guests seemed to be European. The staff are very nice, if overworked. The patio is lovely and there is an evening happy hour (well, glass of wine). The location is perfect. Just a short walk from numerous good restaurants, the beach (with dedicated loungers and umbrellas) and the night life if Ocean Ave if that’s your thing. And, it’s just far enough away if sleeping is your thing! Oh and the price is VERY reasonable!
