Staff were exceptionally friendly and personable - 24/7. Both on the Reception Desk and in the Breakfast Room.
Room was large, bright - with a huge double bed.
Breakfast was outstanding - massive choice and food was replenished frequently. We went down for breakfast at a number of different times during our stay and it was never too busy.

The staff were amazingly helpful very fluent in English. Anything they probably lack is swimming pool, which in the cooler months heated would be lovely.

After having stayed in historical hotels in northern Morocco for 14 days, it was nice to come to a modern hotel, where everything worked without a problem. I think the bed was the best one I have slept in, ever.
The staff in the reception was wonderfully pleasant, and answered all our questions gracefully.
We had a late bus ride to Faro, Portugal, at 21:30, and were able to leave our luggage in the reception area.
A charming hotel that is ideally located in the heart of the historic old town of Cadiz, which enraptures the traveller with its warm mix of Andalucian, colonial and classical styles.

We loved Cadiz, and the Hotel Argentonio added to our wonderful experience. The decor is tasteful and the lounge area was so welcoming. The hotel is located just on the edge of the narrow streets, so it was easy to find and within walking distance to what we wanted to see. The staff, Daniel and Rosa, were very friendly, helpful, and gave us suggestions as to how to make the most of our short stay in Cadiz. A tip for those with a car: even though there is parking available at the hotel, our car was too big (and we are too inexperienced 😳) to navigate the narrow streets, so we parked nearby at a parking station, Canalejas, which was very easy to locate and a short stroll to the hotel.

Cádiz might be a small strip of land, but being the oldest inhabited city in Spain, it means that it’s covered with monuments from different ages and cultures. Beautiful sandy beaches kissed by crystalline waters are also part of its magic, while you won’t be able to forget that you’re in Andalusia, land of music and passion.
Founded by Phoenicians, it had Greek, Roman, Arab and Visigoth influence, and the Age of Discoveries reclaimed its fame as port city. It became a cosmopolitan centre of commerce, enriching a heritage still visible in its historic centre. Don’t miss its narrow streets, colourful squares, the Roman theatre, and the imposing and eclectic Cathedral. Some of the most unique hotels in Cádiz are located in the Old Town.
The newer districts include wide avenues and contemporary buildings. These are the areas of Cádiz with a larger offering of modern hotels on the beach and apartments for rent. Restaurants and cafés serving great local, Andalusian and Spanish specialities are also easy to find.
The railway stations of Estadio, Segunda Aguada, and Central link the city with the rest of the country, while the nearby Jerez Airport is 47 km away. If thinking of visiting southern Spain, check out the Cádiz accommodation deals on Booking.com!

Cadiz is a city full of atracttions, history and restaurants. It it good place to explore souranding area like Jerez de la Frontera or Arcos de la Frontera. Restaurants in Cadiz is cheaper than in many cities in Spain. There is nice spot to watch sunset like San Sebastian Castle or less popular promenad close to Parque José Celestino Mutis ( you can see beautiful La Pepea Bridge ).

Cadiz is a beautiful city, among the oldest in Europe.
Cadiz is a beautiful city, among the oldest in Europe. The people are very friendly and the views are stunning. We visited here after visiting Madrid and it was a breath of fresh air. Beautiful narrow streets without the crowds. The market is a great place to sample the local seafood. The train station is a short walk to the town center and from there, you can visit nearby Jerez, Cordoba or Seville. There are also beautiful beaches.

Cadiz is lovely, first impression I thought it was a bit tired and run down but the more I saw the more I loved it. It really has everything, beautiful beaches, a fabulous old town, and lots of sights to see. Great cafe culture. Better for the more mature traveller which suited us fine. No music blasting out or nightclubs that I was aware of. Very authentic Spain. The city is vast but has a very good transport network.

just the right size for walking about with lovely scenery, loads of shops, cafes, bars etc just a pain to get to from Seville - do thorough research on exactly how you are getting from A to B and when - you can't just turn up and get on a train they get full and 'sold out' and are not that frequent.

Cadiz is a lovely city with beautiful architecture and history.
It is a clean city and we love exploring all of the alleyways and streets.
The people are very friendly and it’s not expensive to eat and drink in.
The hostel didn't look like much from the outside, but quite lovely on the inside with a patio and furnished/decorated with love. Bathroom was outside of room, but there is almost one per room, so we never had to wait. Also, we had a sink within the room. Location was good, but to be fair, since Cádiz is small, every location within the old town is good :) Last but not least: Friendly host and various amenities available, for example we could borrow a beach umbrella.
The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located for sightseeing and enjoying the city. The staff was excellent, Mari was welcoming and had great recommendations. Everything in the apartment was perfect for our stay, very clean and well appointed. Great value, great location for sightseeing and places to eat right outside the door.We will definitely be back to Cadiz and look forward to staying here again. We highly recommend it, and wish we'd stayed longer!!!
the communication was excellent with James, recommended some great things to do in Cadiz.the location was great with a lot of very funky tapas bars around. The hotel was near the market ,which in my opinion is one of the best in Spain. There was nothing to fault at all,and when I found out that James used to,play football with legendary Swansea City, and Càdiz defender it made my stay even more enjoyable.
The location is perfect for accessing the beach, restaurants, museums and shopping. It has a great deal of light, which is not always easy to find in Cadiz. I enjoyed watching the families gathering on the plaza to chat, the children playing and the general life in the old town from the balcony.
The staff at the rental agency were very helpful For a week long stay, its perfect
Nice hotel with a roof terrace on the edge of the historic city center. The option for parking was perfect and our room was surprisingly big. The house is gorgeous with a garden on the 4th floor and a historic courtyard. Wifi was good and the personnel was very friendly and happy to help. The location is very convenient to see beautiful Cadiz.
The staff were really friendly and gave us great tips on what to do in Cadiz. The hotel was really nice, clean, and modern. The bed was really comfy and the room had a great working AC system in the hot summer day. The rooftop is great to look out across the city with beautiful views. Hotel is only a 10 walk away from the train station.
Lovely hotel with great location in the heart of Cadiz old town. Beautiful reception area with fresh water, wine and pastries available for guests. Room was very clean, bed comfortable and hot shower a real treat. Staff were also very helpful and able to both highlight the best sights to see as well as good restaurants to visit.
It's an amazing place to stayed .Located in Old Town Cadiz near Cadiz Court Museum and Plaza de Abastos, as well as are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Church of Oratorio de San Felipe Neri and Torre Tavira, etc.
Many restaurants and bar. Easy for sightseeing.
Friendly staff. Extremely clean.
The property was ideally situated in Old Town Cádiz. We enjoyed strolling around the Plaza and all the cafes and restaurants. The building itself was gorgeous and rooms were nice and quiet without all the street noise (only when you open windows). Loved that we could wash & dry our clothes on the premises.
The hotel only opened earlier this year and it’s been so well renovated. The rooms are tastefully decorated, modern but in keeping with the building. The rooms are big and have everything you need. The rooftop also has fabulous views of the city. I am definitely coming back here for my next trip to Cadiz.
I've stayed in hostels before, and I was surprised by the dorm beds, very private and comfortable with sockets and usb outlets. Of all the hotels I've stayed in cadiz this place has the best beds and pillows so comfortable. If you're on a budget, I recommend this place for sure you will enjoy your stay.
The room was quite spacious. The bathroom had an excellent shower and everything was quite clean. The hotel was located only a five minutes walk from the beach and it was near shops and cafes. There was a bus very near the hotel that took you to Cadiz old town centre. So it was well located.
This hotel made our visit to Cadiz special. It is located very near to the main square and just a short walk to all of the attractions and resturants. A secure underground car park is at the hotel. On the 6th floor is an outside pool with sun beds and great views over the city.
A very pleasant Boutique Hotel, with very pleasant and attentive hostess - Carmen. Very nicely decorated. Quite a good location for that part of Cadiz. Pleasant walk to nearby parks and sea front. Good recommendations, by Carmen, for nearby restuarants
Central location, perfect for discover old Cadiz. A lot of restaurant and bar near the hotel. Recommended 100%. Staff very helpful. There are 2 different Parking near the hotel. If you use the app (for the parking) you can have a great discount.
a beautiful apartment in a great location in the old town of Cadiz, 2 minutes walk to the cathedral. the apartment was spacious and had everything you needed. The roof terrace was a real bonus. Staff were so helpful.
The hotel is big and the room was clean. It is nice to have parking close to the hotel (even if the parking was not free) the hotel is located near the best restaurants. If I come back to Cadiz I can stay here again.
The hotel is right on the beach which is enormous and immaculately clean. Our room had a side sea view which was lovely. The hotel is a short 10 minute bus ride from the centre of Cadiz which is a fantastic city.
Nice boutique hotel. Well located and clean. Christian at the front desk did an outstanding job in orienting us to the hotel the history of the city restaurants and sites to see
teresa runs a hotel in a way that makes you feel you are a guest in her home (which this used to be). the location is great, right in the middle of cadiz but on a quiet street
