Very built up area but had everything you need.
Very built up area but had everything you need. Long Promenade with lovely sandy beach. Buses were great - cheap and clean. Lots of different bars & restaurants to choose from. Prices very good. Nice walk to the Castle (free entry). Recommend The Lotus Steak restaurant! Day trip to Benalmadena via the Ferry is a good way of getting out & about. Sunday market and a very large market every Tuesday in the town centre (which was a fair walk from The Veramar Aparthotel).

You take Fuengirola as it is, if you want bars with TV's there are plenty, nightlife if you want it. A 7 kilometer seafront to walk along, very good selection of restaurants. Quiet areas away from the town. Taxis, buses and trains all available. Very Spanish still lots of pretty squares. You do not see rubbish laying around especially on surrounding roads.

Promenade is touristy, but a few streets back Fuengirola is a Spanish town with good facilities, excellent quality fruit and veg and fish at half the UK cost. Proper high street with clothes and shoe shops, even Botox clinics if this is your thing ! Huge Carrefour supermarket ( equivalent of Waitrows) and smaller Mercadona (equivalent of Tescos)
Every type of restaurants even Indians, Thai, English fish and chip shop.
Parking is difficult but area around mosque is free, don't try on a Friday or Sunday !

We have been several times to Fuengirola and would definitely recommend
The bus services are brilliant to get to visit other places
The train station is central and again easy to use and cheap
The place is so clean
Next to the beach. Panoramic sea views from balcony. Loved sitting on the balcony listening to the waves. Room large and clean and beds comfy. Staff friendly. A good walk into Fuengirola, but enjoyable along the seafront. Good regular bus service between Fuengirola and Marbella. Bus stop right outside of the hotel. Very good choice for breakfast and the young guy cooking the eggs is a magician, the eggs are perfect and he always has a lovely smile for everyone. We have stopped at this hotel lots of times and we love it.
This was my first stay since it became Ramada/Wyndham (have visited for last 10 years as Club la Costa). Although the main reception for check in is a little far from both sides of the resort, it was easy to find and the porter took me and my luggage to my room which was ready on arrival. For me it was very comfortable and as always a great location (30min walk or 8min bus for €1.55 or cab for €8 to Fuengirola). Staff in Zacs were very accommodating when wanting to watch football, thank you!!
Location is good, you can walk to Fuengirola city centre and also down to the beach. 5 min walk to a big shopping centre. The hotel and apartment are very clean. We got a very nice apartment on the 6th floor with a nice view of the mountains and the sun set. Nice indoor pool that was appreciated since the outdoor pools were closed for the season. Also nice to be able to play padel tennis on one of the many padel courts. The staff is very nice and helpful.
Great family run hotel. In the old town in Fuengirola. Room was a great size with large windows and balconies. Bed was huge and comfy. Rituals shower gel in the bathroom. Whole place was spotlessly clean. We slept well. The breakfast was of good quality and we enjoyed sitting on the outside terrace. I especially loved the home made marmalade.
The hotel exceeded our expectations. We were greeted on arrival by a very friendly receptionist and staff were always on hand to assist. Our room was clean, extremely comfortable and had a lovely view.
The hotel is in a brilliant position for exploring Fuengirola, close to the sea and port.
Muchas gracias. Hasta pronto!
Little gem of a hotel tucked away in the centre of Fuengirola. Comfortable, clean, reasonably priced. Breakfast was buffet style continental with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and helpful. The huge bonus of free parking . Loved it, would recommend and definitely stay again
Hotel location was good - close to the beach and easy walk to all the restaurants and bars in Fuengirola. Staff on the whole were friendly and informative. Pool was good, although most sunbeds reserved (people putting towels down) before going to breakfast.
Hotel doesn't look much from the outside but is lovely inside. Everything was extremely clean and the breakfast buffet was excellent with a huge range of options. Perfect location too, right in the middle of Fuengirola. A really good hotel for the price.
The room was excellent . Super clean. The location of the hotel is perfect. 2 mins walk to the Bus station and 4 mins walk to the train station of Fuengirola and the beach. So easy to be able to travel to other parts of Málaga.
Seafront location was perfect for us
The choice for breakfast eat as much as you like for £9 was fantastic ! It will be the first hotel I look for when booking in Fuengirola again
