Beautiful town on the island of Naxos.
Beautiful town on the island of Naxos. Exactly what you want for a Greek holiday experience. Lots of restaurants and shops. Beautiful buildings and streets, gorgeous flowers everywhere. The port and sea are beautiful and there is always a view. Walk across the causeway to Portara, it’s stunning. Friendly locals! We loved it and would recommend to everyone.

We oved Naxos, the island was big enough to cater for all types of activities but was still easy to get around by hire car or public bus. We stayed for 6 days and could have done 6 more. It was not just touristy, it had local agriculture, industry and attractions. We will come back and hike more trails and ride the mountain roads on bikes for more days. Loved this town.
Loved this town. Just as pretty as Mykonos town but less expensive and less crowded. Lots of locals, no cruisers. Good selection of restaurants. Very nice waterfront. The Apollo Temple was cool—easily accessible and free. Stayed here for two nights, did not venture out to the rest of the island, and could have been perfectly happy staying another 1-2 nights just exploring the town.

There is a lot of good restaurants, we would recommend to get a quad to go around the island, we had the luck to have it very calm on the road, we were able to visit a lot and see all the charms, the trendy spots the more calm spots, the best hidden beaches, Naxos has a lot to offer, food is great and the people are amazing, you won't regret NaxosKaxandraBelgium - 10Scored 10

Great island to visit - Naxos Town has a lot of good restaurants, plus a good bag wash laundry service - the Captain's laundry. The towns of Filoti and Apeiranthos are well worth a visit. The island has a very relaxed attitude with none of the problems associated with cruise ships and their passengers as experienced on Santorini. Well worth a visit.GrahameAustralia - 10Scored 10

Stunning Greek island with a sleepy, relaxed vibe in October. Great restaurants and amazing beaches, awesome hikes and sightseeing to do. It felt way more genuine and less touristy than Santorini, more like an authentic experience.

The bathroom was spacious and the kitchen was simple, warm and very accommodating. The host, Michaella was super welcoming and provided homemade snacks for us on several occasions. She had great suggestions about where to eat and what events were happening in town. We met Nico, owner of very famous jewellery shop in Naxos, being busy, yet gave us a free tours of old town . We will recommend the hotel to anyone coming to Naxos. The studio is 10 mins walk from Naxos choral and 10 mins walk to a large super market Koutelieris. It is also a 10 minute walk to the bus stop to get to the beaches and everywhere in Naxos. Stella (the woman who works there) was great; she even printed work papers for me late at night. I cannot wait to visit it again. P.S. You must visit Naxos.
