I have been going to Vilamoura for several years mainly due to the location only 25 minutes from Faro airport and close to the beach, bars and restaurants. You don’t really need a car unless you want to go to places other than Vilamoura as everything is in walking distance.

Love Vilamoura so much to see and do.
Love Vilamoura so much to see and do. The Old Village was amazing. All facilities included even several pools. Some enclosed and we had one just up 5 steps from where we were staying. Plenty of choices for food and entertainment.

Beautiful place, fantastic food.
Beautiful place, fantastic food. Lots of trips you are able to book when you're there like parasailing, fishing, jet skiing, dolphin watching, visit the caves, there's a waterpark nearby, beaches are beautiful and clean. It was perfect for a family holiday and we had great weather while we were there.

Marina was quiet in March but in the summer I imagine it could be hectic. Large selection of restaurants, all similar menus and prices. However the service and food was good in the few we went to. Plenty of staff

Vilamoura is a nice resort, we had not been there before,...
Vilamoura is a nice resort, we had not been there before, most activity at night is centred at the marina, where there are loads of restuarants and bars to suit everyone. Beach was lovely I would go back again, but definitley not to the apartment we stayed in , the apartment itself was fine but not the location or the very old run down building it was in. I would not recommend it to anyone .
Stuck in Portugal after the flights were cancelled my partner and I needed somewhere to stay last minute. The host was exceptional in helping us out, with an understanding and caring attitude.
The accommodation was lovely, next to a couple of restaurants and bar, all of which were lovely. It was close enough to the marina and beach so we could walk. The local supermarkets were minutes away allowing ease for anyone self catering.
The apartment itself was lovely and clean, with a nice decor and cosy balcony.
Beautiful hotel lobby , very bright modern , high ceiling and light feature looked well.We stayed in a family suite, this was very clean and comfortable and nice space. Room facilities were sufficient. Hotel Staff very professional and helpful at reception, concierge and in the bar. Breakfast was outstanding, great selection of food for every diet and so many choices. Courtesy bus to Marina was a lovely plus. We gad a lovely holiday at the Hilton.
Very good location, minutes from the beach and marina. The hotel itself was lovely, very clean, very friendly staff and rooms were serviced daily. Our room had a sea view and was very big with a small kitchenette well kitted out. Breakfast was included and had a great choice for everyone. Snack bar was very reasonable for sandwiches, pizza's, chips. Pool was spotless and lots of sunbeds available. If we return to Vilamoura we would stay here again.
We liked the location very much. What made our stay so wonderful was the staff. Sara and Fabrizio were especially delightful, caring and helpful.
The room was smaller than we expected. There was something sticky on the phone and TV Control. And the temperature is preset and a little too cool given the weather. We will return to stay because of the staff and location. The hotel is lovely. And we liked the entertainment on Saturday evening.
Breakfast options were good, i am Coeliac and the range on offer for me could be improved but that seemed to be throughout Portugal and not just the hotel. Room was so impressive, huge space, great balcony overlooking Victoria golf course and a fantastic bath and shower. The pool was lovely, to cold for me to go in but lovely views and a great bar to support the pool. Free drop off service into Vilamoura from 9am to 11.30pm which was great.
Villa Girassol was exactly the property we were looking for. We travelled to Vilamoura for a family wedding and wanted to make sure we were all together as a family rather than booking a hotel. The location was ideal with no problems getting an Uber or a Taxi into the marina at night for dinner. It was also a lovely walk to the Marina in the mornings. The facilities in the villa were exceptional.
To pay £80 per night for half board in a hotel located less than 5 minutes walk from Vilamoura Marina is just the most outstanding value-for-money offering I have come across in a long time . This was further backed up by the quality of the breakfast and evening meals . Dom Pedro Marina will now be my first choice hotel any time I am going to Vilamoura
Very comfortable. Quiet location.
Location gives you the option of going to the marina snd more touristic area as well as to go to the other side where there is more local life.
The sea is 3 mins walking. Swimming pool not heated in October but for our kids it didn’t matter that much, they had a great time.
Lovely quiet location, with lovely gardens, but close enough to walk to shops and marina within 15 mins. Clean, spacious apartment, well equipped. Lovely pool for kids by the restaurant and a kids activities lady who was really friendly. Separate more adult quiet pool was also lovely.
Amazing hotel in the best location in villamoura right on the marina from one side and the beach from the other side
Excellent breakfast.
Great pool.
Excellent rooms with huge and comfortable bed
Great lobby
Very short walking distance from all restaurants and bars
We’ve been traveling Portugal for a few weeks in various hotels. This was by far the best, breakfast was minimalistic but perfect. The pool area is great, room was great, staff were all lovely. No complaints, cheers
It's a really pleasant and well equipped appartement right next to the marina. The bed in the master room is super confortable and the shower of the master bathroom is great.
Great location stunning marina view from the balcony, good choice for breakfast, stayed only for B@B. Extremely helpful/polite staff, would definitely stay again.
The apartment was perfect for our needs. Very clean and well furnished with everything we needed. Excelkent location with very short walk to Marina and beach
Beautiful hotel, very well kept. Staff are so attentive. Fantastic complimentary shuttle service to Marina & back to hotel. Pool areas lovely. Amazing Spa.
