The room was amazing and super comfortable. My partner and I had the best nights sleep. The level of comfort was outstanding. The Spa was very relaxing and tranquil, warm and private with a big floatation/jacuzzi pool and sauna. The bar staff were super lovely, especially the guy with the 'Bring Me The Horizon' Tattoo on his arm (we're fans) - he really looked after us. This was the relaxing stay that we needed and we were very impressed.

Christchurch is a lovely place- my sister moved there 2 years ago and we are a large family so need other accommodation when we visit. The Avon ticked all the boxes and it was like home from home. Close to everything and not far from the beach.
It is a beautiful part of Britain and unspoilt which I hadn’t visited before - usually going to Bournemouth.
It is a must for families with Avon beach so clean and unspoiled with all the amenities you need. The New Forest is also so close.

Except that the hotel location was too far to walk into Christchurch the town itself is lovely especially the walks alongside of the river.
Also as with every location along this coast parking fees are an issue and excessive

Quaint old town with lovely riverside walk and various interesting old buildings. We had an excellent meal at very reasonable prices at the Lock and Quay restaurant and we liked the Kings Arms hotel for a drink - very friendly staff and lovely, stylish decor.

Only stayed for 1 night, but used to live in the area. Christchurch is a nice town, a little drive from hotel to get there, coffee shops, takeaways and restaurants are all there. Easy drive to Bournemouth. At the hotel there is a little contstant background road noise and plane noise from around 7.00 am, but did not distract from the novel themed hotel and the location.

We were really impressed with how much space there was in the property, it was much bigger in person than it looked in the photos.
The garden was an added bonus, especially with the warm sunny weather.
The bed was absolutely brilliant, really comfortable. We had a great night's sleep on both nights.
The hosts left us some milk in the fridge as well as some beers which was a lovely touch.
Christchurch is a lovely area, we were able to walk to the beach on one day, then drive into the New Forest on another.
A friendly welcome and booking was seamless.
The helpfulness continued throughout my stay.
The breakfast had multiple choices from various cold selections to “request your choice of hot food.
The evening meal was superb Cooked to perfection, again large menu.
Certainly would not hesitate to book this Hotel for my next trip to Dorset.
Well done everyone.
David is a happy and helpful host. The room was clean and comfortable.
If you're looking for somewhere to stay while exploring Dorset, you won't get better for the price. Don't expect all mod cons but there is free WiFi, breakfast with tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Only an 8 minute walk to the nearest pub for your evening meal.
Absolutely fabulous location. Beautiful garden. 2 minute walk to the main shops in Christchurch but tucked away in very private courtyard. Loads of walks. Loads of places to eat and drink. Waitrose just down the road. EXCEPTIONALLY clean - not a speck of dust or dirt in sight. Haven’t ever experienced a place like it.
We’ve had a wonderful 2 nights here. It’s in a stunning position on the river. Our room had amazing views. There’s a ferry from the hotel to the other side of the river Wick. And a ferry to Mudeford beach.
The restaurant served good food. Same menu in both restaurants which we were not told about. A very good breakfast
We were blown away by the Harbour Hotel, the view was stunning, the staff were genuine, friendly and caring, the food was delicious, the cocktails delightful, and the spa was very relaxing. Overall, we couldn't have asked for anything more, this really is an amazing place to stay.
Tiny, nice hotel, kind and helpful staff, absolutely clean room and bathroom, comfy bed. Coffee and tea machine in the room, so you can easy make a hot beverage and having a rest with, after a busy sightseeing day. The breakfast is also tasty, healthy and beautifully served.
Our go to hotel while visiting relatives, clean, tidy and great staff who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Food and drink as always superb and the room is larger than most you would get for the value paid. As Arnie says we will be back!
Excellent and friendly host. Accommodation and breakfast were top notch. Location was ideal for us since we were visiting elderly aunt in Mudeford. Great location to walk to Mudeford Quay and path to Christchurch. Would use again.
Modern and clean. Very close to hustle and bustle of Christchurch but in a secluded gated area away from the crowds. Lovely location for exploring the rivers at Christchurch, Hengistbury Head and a short drive to Bournemouth.
Extremely friendly and ideal location for our needs. We go to the Avon Causeway every time we visit the South of England. Ideal for the airport, great food, fantastic breakfast, oldy worldy, comfortable. All we need.
This was our second visit to the hotel. The food is superb and they make the BEST “Bloody Mary!”
It is set in an ideal location, peaceful and within walking distance to Christchurch centre, and Mudeford Quay
It had what i was looking for in Christchurch, Off road parking, Wi-Fi and kettle in the room. The Room was small as was the En-suite. Staff were helpful and friendly. Mobile phone signal not great but OK.
We loved the hotel - the spacious restaurant floor, terrace and our room, which was very clean and beautifully furnished. The bathroom was spacious. Bonus points for providing a coffee machine and fridge.
A great welcome, lovely friendly atmosphere, excellent food and drink at pub prices, not hotel prices.
Very good location, off a minor road but within a few miles of Ringwood, Christchurch & Bournemouth.
Michelle,Ross and Kevin's reserve host. The position in relation to Christchurch, restaurants, the river, and the no 1b bus into Bournemouth which ran every thirty minutes near Tuxton Bridge.
The Captain's Club is a gem of a hotel in the middle of Christchurch, right by the water's edge. The service and food is always very good. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious.
