Slubice lies on the Polish/German border,about 85 kilometres east of Berlin. It's very much a tourist town,a magnet for Germans who cross the border to buy cigarettes,vodka and cut-price petrol. As a result,there are loads of duty-free shops and supermarkets.Other than this,it's a pleasant little town which boasts a few historical monuments and enjoyable riverside walks. IF,whilst there,you want a good meal,look no further than Douane,slap-bang in the centre of town.

The staff was very helpful from check-in to check-out. The restaurant was super. It was a great dinner meal. Breakfast had a wide assortment of item to choice from. We will be staying there again on our travels to see relatives.

The double room on the first floor was much better than the triple room on the first floor. There was kettle, glasses and new bedlinen. Overall, hotel is good for short stop, then traveling to of from Germany. Germany border is only 3 km. Slubice is nice town.

The room was just perfect, nothing missing.

Staff are super helpful and friendly. For any one looking for anplace to reat on their journey thats pretty much best spot to have a brake.
