It's a very small town, there isn't much to see or do.

It's a very small town, there isn't much to see or do. You can pretty much walk in two directions. But Tigaki is close, there's a bit more variety of restaurants and bars and cafes. The beach in Marmari is perfect though! And it's very safe and quiet. I would recommend renting a car anyway, because there's not much else to do and you will be more flexible that way. The sunsets in Marmari are very beautiful!

Recommend this resort to the fullest.

Recommend this resort to the fullest. It’s worth every penny from the customer service, food, facilities and the overall atmosphere. We arrived in the wee hours (03:45 am) and were scheduled for check-in after 2 pm. The receptionist(Ali) called the manager who let us sleep in an available room free of charge till breakfast. The staff is very friendly and professional. The manager was easily accessible, very helpful, informative, friendly and cheerful. I can’t stress enough how well taken of i felt! The resort looks exactly like in the pictures, if not better! Wifi works fast even at the beach! I can’t fault the breakfast, variety to choose from at breakfast. The room is equipped with all types of small kits like a sewing kit which i thought was very thoughtful. This is a place you have to experience if you are a person who likes luxury and privacy or rather looking for a relaxed holiday. Cleanliness:10/10. We did use the tennis court but whoo! the heat🥲 It’s such a shame our stay was short because of availability. I recommend booking early to get the dates you want. Minus: The dinner buffet was quite limited.

Marmari is not the greatest place in Kos for those who like...

Marmari is not the greatest place in Kos for those who like the beach, however, as most people will realize, in Kos you will need to rent a car or a bike and move around. There is a small beach in the middle of Marmari, it is wild, no chairs or bars and has a set of trees for shade, it is awesome to go there but you will need an ice-box and there are also a lot of windsurfers around as there is a windsurfing school there. If you decide to get a car then things change, Marmari is the best place to stay in Kos because it is in the middle of the island, close to the airport, close to the mountains, close to all the beaches and to Kos city. Everything is at a 20 min drive away, home base is in the middle all the time. Even for those who don't like to drive, Tigaki is close to Marmari and they have in my opinion one of the top 3 beaches in Kos, great amenities, good places to eat, good road to cycle or just walk. Tigaki is 5 min away by car or a 40 min walk. Other than this, Paradisse beach and the whole other beaches near it are 25 minutes away. The mountain village with good food and a view is 15 minutes away and Kos city is 30 miuntes away and it has a nice beach to the north, Lambi.

Marmari is a seaside town not far from Tingaki.

Marmari is a seaside town not far from Tingaki. Where all the shops and restaurants are located a few minutes with a car or buses Quite an area excellent for relaxation if you're happy just to walk to the beach and spend a few days of not doing anything

Everything was excellent: friendly and polite staff, the vibe of the place, the location (free car parking, easy to get to every place of this beautiful island- in the middle of Kos and Kefalia, easy to access all locations), next to horse riding farm and lovely beach. It was our first long holiday together as a family of three and it was perfect! There were two areas for children to play and the swimming pool- kept our child occupied all the time! If we ever consider coming back to Kos - we will definitely stay here again!

Very clean and well cared apartment. Hosts are very nice people who were willing to help us in any way. Wifi has a quite strong signal so we could keep connected. There is a mini fridge and you can cook and eat there. Also there is a terrace with a table and chairs. Good Aircon. Location is near to the beach and quite close to Kos town. We had a car so we can't coment on the public transport. There are plenty of car, scooter and bike rentals around the area. There are also plenty of supermarkets and restaurants.

I loved EVERYTHING! This hotel is beyond amazing, the rooms are very nice and the staff is extremely friendly, the waiters, the restaurant chefs, the receptionists, the managers, the houskeeping,.. everyone was very kind. I also really liked the design of the entire hotel. The rooms are very clean and the design of the bathroom is beautiful. The food and the cocktails were also really good! They even offer floating breakfast trays in the pool which is really nice. I will definitely go back, I had a great time!

We had an amazing stay at OKU Kos - the staff was super friendly and made us feel home from the first day on - especially Nadja and her sister were great! The beach is prescious and the free Yoga sessions at the beach in the morning were a great start into the day. Definitely rent a car to explore the island - it’s quite cheap. We had some issues with the arrival trip due to Covid-19 but the reception was super friendly and flexible - we definitely will come back, thank you for this amazing time!

The beds were comfortable and the room cleaned very well everyday. The breakfast was really good, lots of variety and plenty of it. The pool area was gorgeous and we loved the bar/restaurant next door. All the staff were really friendly and helpful at the hotel. Easy to get an air conditioned bus to Kos town at the end of the road (and only about 20 minutes away), although they were frequently late and only run one an hour, so don't miss the last one back home.

Esperia hotel was very good. Clean and comfy. Staff were very kind, especially Irene from the reception. Hotel is only 7-10 minutes walking distance from the beach. The whole area in Marmari is very calm and nice, not too crowded. Bus stop for Kos city is across the street. Ticket is only 2.10 euros and all busses had air conditioning and house music playing inside. We loved staying in Esperia and would definitely book it again!

Stop going from hotel to hotel and do yourself a favour: stay at this magnificent place for at least a couple of nights. It has such a unique and relaxing atmosphere. We were originally planning to stay for only 3 nights and ended up staying 7. Couldn't have enjoyed it any more. The hosts are a hard working and charming family, that are really friendly and always ready to help.

It is very good located hotel, 10 minutes walk from the beach. Supermarkets are near by and a bus station in front. Employees are very friendly and eager to help. Ask for advice if you need it and they will provide. It is a very good 3 star hotel and you can see that they care about their guests. It is true it's not on beachfront, but close enough to enjoy it.

Really nice owners of the house. House is big, clean and a terrace is great place to eat. Neighborhood is nice, quiet, there are horse stables near, offering horse riding on the beach. Central location is a good starting point to other places, like town Kos (by car), Tigaki Salt lake (even by foot). Marmari beach is a couple of minutes away.

Hotel attractively laid out. Staff excellent, especially in beach, pool and restaurant areas. Breakfast excellent. Dining in evening very good Asian fusion but if staying for more than a week the menu is not huge. Private sandy beach one of the best features. Spa and gym immaculate. Practical items like ironing board/iron in room.

We absolutely loved the private pool access, the pool in general, the food and the service by staff at the restaurant. The rooms were super spacious, nicely designed and everything was thought through and modern (USB ports beside the bedside table, socket and light in the safe,...) It's just a great hotel to relax and unwind.
