Our hosts were very informative and welcoming prior to our arrival and touched base with us to make sure we had everything that we needed. The peace and tranquility of the site was something that added to our holiday experience. Sitting on the deck at the outdoor table setting to have breakfast overlooking the "Lake" was a bonus.

Paul was a great host. He made me a coffee on arrival and gave some good suggestions for dining out. The hot breakfast that he whipped up was sensational!!

Breakfast was fabulous, gourmet food presented beautifully. Such a quiet, tranquil garden setting to enjoy the breakfast. Also had a dinner, sitting in the warm lounge room beside a roaring fire. Felt like King and Queen of the house.

Great dinner & entertainment at The Imperial Hotel on Friday night - but disappointed the pub (& the whole town) closed at 9pm!

While the township of Eumundi is small and charming our accommodation was so poor that it meant our stay was too long. We only stayed four nights in order to go to the Eumundi Markets. The accommodation was so unhealthy and disappointing that we were just pleased to leave and go home. The markets will have to wait for another time. Not a good experience, especially at Christmas.

Eumundi is a great location for lots of the attractions in the area. The ginger factory, the markets, Noosa, great shops and beaches all within a 30 minute drive.
We had dinner at the Thai restaurant in Eumundi itself. The pub where stayed was typical of a country pub and all the locals were great.

Eumundi is a small country town, but has all the requirements for a good stay. It has a couple of hotels dating back to the beginning of the 20th century, both of which serve meals. We visited the Imperial Hotel and found the standard of food and service to be excellent. Likewise the Thai restaurant in the town centre.
Of course there is the famous Eumundi Market (Wed and Sat). This had just re-opened post-CoVid19 lockdown and we visited on a Wednesday . We are not normally 'market people', but were pleasantly surprised with the range and quality of goods for sale. There was a lovely happy atmosphere and a good attendance (just enabling Social Distancing). We felt that Wednesday was a good day to visit - I imagine that Saturdays will be a little crowded - so get there early!
There is a lovely area of parkland, part of which has a strong emphasis on WW1 remembrance. Many trees carry dedications to individual service personnel who lost their lives in that conflict.
Eumundi is well placed to enable easy travel eastwards to the Noosa area for sea/surf activities, and westwards to the Kenilworth/Mary Valley area for interesting country drives.

Eumundi is a magical country village with a bohemian vibe, a secret hideaway that comes to life during market days and a Friday evening food market. Just down the road from the amazing “spirit house restaurant” in Yandina and about 20 minutes from bustling Noosa and the quaint villages of montville and Maleny.
We loved our stay! Room, bed and bath were clean and comfortable. The setting was lovely with breakfast served on the porch overlooking the yard and pond. Many native birds serenaded us. Our hosts Sue and David were helpful and available and SO interesting to talk with about their travels and careers. The breakfast was delicious and filling! And included passion fruit from their plants! We were in the area for a wedding but it’s a perfect location to visit the famous Eumundi Markets.
The location was close enough to Eumundi village to be convenient yet far enough away to feel as though we had escaped to the country. Sue and David were great hosts - they were interesting and interested, great conversationalist, respectful and accommodating of all guests. The breakfast was superb and the tranquility of the property was perfect for a R&R escape. Sitting on the veranda (and in 'The Pod') watching and listening to the birdlife was both entertaining & relaxing.
What a beautiful place to stay. The hosts, Louise and Marko, were brilliant - very attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were delicious too. The room was clean and tidy, and the verandah perfect for sitting out on an afternoon/evening.
The location was perfect for walking to Eumundi for the shops, markets or food, and as a central base for exploring the area.
We can't recommend Gridley Homestead B&B enough. We would definitely stay again.
We spent two nights at Eumundi b&b, the location was perfect- secluded, in nature (we even managed to spot wallabies in the garden each morning- what a treat!), but not far from Eumundi itself where there are fantastic markets on every Wednesday, and some great dinner options, also not far from Noosa.
The breakfast each morning was also amazing!
Very clean, and comfortable accomodations with all necessary amenities. We loved the peace and quiet. Anne is a very thoughtful, warm and considerate host. She had a lot of suggestions for places to visit and cafes and restaurants. 🙂
We higly recommend Eumundi cottages for a cozy and comfortable stay🙂
Special thanks to Braydon for being absolutely so wonderful. We were caught in the severe flooding from Caloundra to the south. The only accomodation we could find was The Hola in Eumundi and did not arrive until late . Braydon greeted us warmly in the Pub as well . Thnakyou
The cottage was well appointed with everything you would need. Located in a lovely garden on an elevated site between Cooroy and Eumundi. The guest information booklet gave great guidance on places to eat and things to do. Beautiful surroundings and relaxing stay
The complimentary chocolate cake with blueberries and cream in the fridge on arrival. The beautiful relaxing mountain view from the cabin is amazing. A great place to really unwind. Handy to eumundi township for cafes and a great Thai restaurant.
Janet was VERY welcoming guest and she genuinely just wants her guests to have fun and enjoy the area. Clean and comfortable mountain retreat but the location was just beautiful. Make sure you time your trip with the Eumundi market's.
Perfectly located amongst lush surrounds tucked in behind a must-visit Coffee Roaster and Brewery, in the creative heart of Eumundi Village. The studios were so welcoming - gorgeous linens, art, treats, and hair & skin products.
beautiful setting. hosts were absolutely wonderful. best breakfast ever. quiet, everything you would need or want. very close to Eumundi. a charming, comfortable home with a pool and bush land setting.
The hotel is right in the centre of town an easy stroll to the local restaurants, shops and over the road from the Eumundi Market.
The bed was really comfy and the shower was fantastic!
Peaceful atmosphere with beautiful view over Lilly filled lake, lovely bird noises, nice and private accommodation and close to Markets and both coastal and hinterland venues.
Beautiful old converted Queenslander. Brilliant, welcoming hosts. Close to Eumundi's main street (restaurants and shops). Quiet location, great beds - sleep like a log.
