The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. We had an incredible two-night stay with our family at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect! They generously upgraded our room free of charge, which made our experience even more special. The buffet for both breakfast and dinner offered a delightful mix of international and local cuisine, catering to all tastes. The rooftop pool was absolutely breathtaking, offering a mesmerizing and picturesque view that left us in awe. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff—they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back again!

Hotel Heladiv se nachází ve svěžím zeleném a klidném prostředí, 6 km od letiště SLAF Anuradhapura. Wi-Fi je dostupné zdarma. Všechny pokoje mají TV, klimatizaci a terasu. We only stayed one night but the hotel was Excellent, clean and modern. The breakfast was good and plentiful and we had a great dinner there as well at a very Reasonable price.

Traveling as a family, we especially appreciated how thoughtful and accommodating everyone was. The atmosphere was serene and inviting, and every detail seemed designed to ensure comfort and relaxation. Our room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly cozy. The common areas were equally lovely — ideal for both moments of peace and time together as a family. Whether it was a kind gesture at breakfast or a friendly chat at reception, we felt seen, valued, and cared for, especially my 15 months old daughter! This was more than just a stay; it was an experience of true hospitality. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories. We can’t wait to come back — thank you for everything!

Staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. Facilities are great! The rooftop pool is amazing! Would definitely stay here again. Delicious buffet dinner and breakfast! They have such a wide variety of foods.

I stayed here for 4 nights and ı definitely recommend. They helped me about transportation, laundry, trips.. The breakfast was included, ıt was really good and the portions are really big. The owner of the place and especially her wife they’re really friendly. I was not even going out for dinner, ı was eating at the hostel(she cooks). It feels like a homestay. I’m really happy that ı stayed here on my Sigiriya time.

The Sri Lankan couple that operates the hotel are some of the most kind, generous, and helpful people I’ve met. The homemade meals are generously portioned and served with love. They helped me arrange tours to the nearby Minneriya National Park and also helped with scooter rental. When I had an accident with the scooter, they were attentive and understanding. But best of all, the value you get for your money is incredible. The hotel rooms are spacious, the pool is nice, and the location is just 20 minutes drive from all the tourist activities in the area.
