The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. The hotel is impressive as soon as you walk in. The staff were quick to greet you and help you check in. The room (family), was spacious, quiet, very clean with all modern fittings and amenities. The breakfast was excellent - catered for a range of cuisines. Again, the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Beautiful gardens, spacious room. We appreciated being upgraded when we arrived late in the evening. Friendly staff, delicious dinner and breakfast. Wish we’d stayed longer

Heritance Kandalama, Klidné útočiště na kopcích, nabízí panoramatický výhled na skály Sigiriya. Naprosto bezchybné. Cena mírně vyšší, avšak adekvátní k exkluzivitě hotelu. Personál velmi vstřícný, všimavý. Pokoje čisté. Nezapomenutelná architektura.

Very big room, the amenities are just perfect. Quite location. Very attentive with their guests. The breakfast was delicious.

Our stay at this wonderful hotel was truly unique. From the moment we were welcomed with a warm, traditional greeting, we knew this place was special. The design is absolutely stunning, with meticulous attention to detail. The hotel is immaculately maintained—a magical natural gem. The entire staff is kind and pleasant, and the service is incredibly efficient. The breakfast was diverse and delicious. There are plenty of options to spend extended time on-site, whether you want to enjoy the tranquility of nature or use the facilities like the gym, pool, or snooker table. We only wish we could have stayed more nights

I arrived at this hostel to spend one night and ended up 4 and leaving was completely heartbroken 🥹❤️‍🩹It is a family hostel where I felt like one of the family, I am very very happy and grateful to have been lucky enough to find such a ✨special ✨place to which I will definitely return and of course recommend, because thanks to the hosts my experience in Sigiriya was spectacular🌄. So thank you very much family ❣️❣️ And wait for me because insha'Allah I will return as soon as I can🧡🐘🌴💙

I loved this place! I stayed for 5 days. It was clean, and the pool was great. I ate at their restaurant once, and the food was very good. I needed to work online, and they made sure I had a good internet connection. It wasn’t super strong (nowhere in Sri Lanka is), but for the country, it was quite good and sufficient for working. I also had fresh water every day and was pleasantly surprised by the hot water pressure in the shower. Even though there weren’t many mosquitoes, they still provided an anti-mosquito product, which was a nice touch. But the best part? The owners. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. Thank you so much!

Green Acres Leisure Resort & Spa se nachází v destinaci Kandy a nabízí ubytování s venkovním bazénem, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, zahradou a sdíleným loungem. This is the most incredible hotel. The views are simply breathtaking and the hospitality of the staff is absolutely overwhelming. Mr Thilak, hotel manager, and his team took care of every detail during our 2 day stay with them. We were travelling with young children (age 3 & 6) and they were so accommodating and kind it was really heartwarming. Small things like our eldest mentioned how he wanted to try a King Coconut at some point during his stay in Sri Lanka, and the next morning at breakfast, the team had thoughtfully carved two for the kids, in the shape of a mouse, so they could try the refreshing coconut water. Mr Thilak also arranged for a short cooking class for us to make our own Hoppers for breakfast, it was a great and interactive experience- especially for the kids. The food menu was brilliant for families, which was something we were a little worried about hearing stories from friends, but here there was even a kids menu here and lots of things our boys enjoyed. Our stay happened to fall over International Women's Day, and I was stopped in the afternoon and presented with a rose and a small gift to celebrate the event. It was so thoughtful. The swimming pool at the hotel is amazing, with views from the pool, restaurant and lobby that will literally take your breath away. Surprise visits from the local monkeys were also fun! We had a driver for our trip and also took the chance to visit Kandy which took us about 1 hour... worth the trip to see some of the famous sights, though I must say we were happy to return to serenity of Greenacres after a full on day of busy city life. We were so sad when it came time to leave, and would truly reccomend anyone travelling to Sri Lanka to brave the jungle path to the hotel and absorb the beautiful setting, wonderful views and warm Sri Lankan hospitality. Above all, the hotel has the most incredible staff with the closest attention to detail and we would truly like to thank them all for their fabulous service!

Sigiriya Palace View poskytuje zahradu, terasu a pokojovou službu. Sigiriya skála je 1,4 km odtud. Na místě je dostupné Wi-Fi zdarma. Výhled na Sigiria Rock, čisté, majitel nám doporučil safari se slony a bylo opravdu vydařené, viděli jsme snad 100+ slonů ve skupinkách po 10-15, proto jsme zůstali o 1 noc déle. Také nám nabídl večeři a připravil i oběd mezi ranním výstupem na Sigirir na východ slunce a safari těsně po poledni. Chutná kuchyně.
