The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. Stuff of this Hotel is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is very good. Very clean. I strongly recommend this hotel to stay.

The pictures of this hotel looked amazing! As the hotel has little reviews (it’s only a month old) we were a bit unsure whether to book or not, but glad we did! The rooms look exactly like the images and the entire hotel is decorated beautifully. The room was large and airy with a very neutral design which I loved! It had great details, including a large free standing mirror, coffee table and armchair. The main show has to be the bed. Large, extra soft linen with plenty of cushions - dreamy! The linen has been some of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel. The bathroom also featured a large shower with a giant rainfall shower head. I would definitely stay here again. Wish there were more quality stays like this! One last thing, they served a fab coffee!

The views are simply breathtaking and the hospitality of the staff is absolutely overwhelming. Mr Thilak, hotel manager, and his team took care of every detail during our 2 day stay with them. We were travelling with young children (age 3 & 6) and they were so accommodating and kind it was really heartwarming. Small things like our eldest mentioned how he wanted to try a King Coconut at some point during his stay in Sri Lanka, and the next morning at breakfast, the team had thoughtfully carved two for the kids, in the shape of a mouse, so they could try the refreshing coconut water. Mr Thilak also arranged for a short cooking class for us to make our own Hoppers for breakfast, it was a great and interactive experience- especially for the kids. The food menu was brilliant for families, which was something we were a little worried about hearing stories from friends, but here there was even a kids menu here and lots of things our boys enjoyed. Our stay happened to fall over International Women's Day, and I was stopped in the afternoon and presented with a rose and a small gift to celebrate the event. It was so thoughtful. The swimming pool at the hotel is amazing, with views from the pool, restaurant and lobby that will literally take your breath away. Surprise visits from the local monkeys were also fun! We had a driver for our trip and also took the chance to visit Kandy which took us about 1 hour... worth the trip to see some of the famous sights, though I must say we were happy to return to serenity of Greenacres after a full on day of busy city life. We were so sad when it came time to leave, and would truly reccomend anyone travelling to Sri Lanka to brave the jungle path to the hotel and absorb the beautiful setting, wonderful views and warm Sri Lankan hospitality. Above all, the hotel has the most incredible staff with the closest attention to detail and we would truly like to thank them all for their fabulous service!

The staff, the food, the rooms: everything was perfect. So great to be away from the craziness of the city to appreciate the natural landscape of Sri Lanka. We will come back!

Hotel is beatiful and the location is perfect, swimming pool is simply awesome. Hotel personal was very friendly and helpful. Kitchen is simply awesome and the wievs from everywhere are stunning. The hotel surrondings is perfectly maintained. Hotel is great for relaxation, we enjoyed it so much, that we prolonged our stay for three more nights.

Everdew Kandy Rooms poskytuje sdílený lounge, terasu a sdílenou kuchyň. Vlakové nádraží Kandy je 2,1 km odtud. Everything is perfect. Big rooms,clean bathroom,clean kitchen and big dining and living room. Beautiful patio outside and big terrace 👌we can cook freely and eat what we love🥰

Kandy Calm Residence (Only for foreigners) se nachází v destinaci Pallekele Kadawidiya a nabízí terasu a výhled na jezero. This is absolutely fantastic accommodation. The room is lovely with a view of pond but the real blessing is Mangelika with her husband who make you feel like you are the most special person in their universe. Do not hesitate to visit them, you will not want to stay anywhere else.

Kandy Alpine Breeze poskytuje restauraci, zahradu, sdílený lounge a terasu. Bogambara Stadium se nachází 3,8 km odtud. The location was perfect. The place was very clean and well-maintained. We felt completely safe during our stay, both in the property and the surrounding area.
