Overwater villas are located directly over the reef with incredible marine life underneath (snorkeling felt like Windows screen saver :). On the scale from 1 to 10 I give them 11! Especially Affan our butler has taken such good care of us and our children and made sure our stay was very comfortable. the food, wines, mocktails and cocktails are very good! Our favorite restaurants are Vakku, Onu, Lagoon Bar and Amaany.

They organised extras for us that went over and above what i expected! breakfast was lovely and the Dhal served in the evening was delicious. i will definitely be coming back.

Goidhoo is quite a remote island and it's not very popular among tourists, so it's perfect if you want to experience the Maldivian culture and hospitality, as well as to observe the nature. The Coral Castle is located right in the center of the village and very close to the beach. The staff are very friendly and have kindly accommodated all my requests. They helped me to arrange snorkeling trips and transfer back to Male by a supply boat. I stayed in a dorm room, but I was alone there throughout my stay. My room was clean, comfortable and air-conditioned. I would recommend Coral Castle and Goidhoo island to everyone who wants to have a quiet holiday and to interact with the local community.
