Surrounded by granite outcrops and with stunning views and roaming wildlife, Desert Quiver Camp offers modern self-catering accommodation, located just 5 km away from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei. The best desert camp I’ve stayed in. Everything was perfect; the location was beautiful, our camp accommodation itself was pristinely clean, spacious and comfortable. The cooking facility adds a nice touch to the place. The WiFi is only available in the bar. But, that was ok for us. Wi-Fi worked really well in there. We also had the buffet dinner at Sossusvlei lodge one night. The outdoor setting of the dinner hall was just stunning.

Was given a free upgrade. Great surroundings. Spacious rooms with great view though you might be disturbed by the gophers when you step out to the porch. Lovely products and dinner. When putting the name into GPS remember to put in Namib Naukloft Lodge. "Soft adventure camp" will lead you way way offroad.

One of the best campsites we have been in Namibia: it has everything you need. Located in a very quiet place, it is a premium choice if you want to have a rest while travelling from Sesriem to the southern part of Namibia. They have 7 camping sites in 2 different areas and both areas have a swimming pool, in addition to the main swimming pool you can find at the reception. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Every dinner they have something different cooked the same day: the Lamb Stew was terrific! Highly recommended 💪🏼

Neuhof Portion 2 Campsite se nachází v destinaci Sesriem a poskytuje vybavení pro grilování a výhled do zahrady. Všechny ubytovací jednotky mají terasu s výhledem na hory. Everything! Location, location, location - it’s not far from Sossusvlei and only a fraction of the cost of staying inside the park. We had a problem with our rental car and they put us up another night, no problem at all. Special mention to the manager, Martiens. He kept us company all day while our car was getting fixed and took us up the hills to view the sunset each night as it sets over the golden grass. Do yourself a favour and stay here, the grounds are beautiful, the staff so helpful and friendly. It was a real highlight in our time in Namibia.

Absolutely beautiful location with our rooms, pool and breakfast having fantastic views over the desert. The photos don’t do it justice. Everyone was so welcoming and the location was great to drive from Windhoek and close enough to get up early and head to Sousselvlei for a sunrise walk. Amazing stars at night and a lovely 4 course meal for supper. Thank you for our lovely stay.
