This place was great!! They had really nice and comfortable rooms. The little kitchen was perfect and had very good pots and pans and knives to cut with. Guest house was about 20min to the hike and 20min to the restaurants.

We stayed one night, and from the moment we pulled in to the moment we left we were made to feel welcome and cared for bh the attentive mother daughter duo that run the guesthouse. They talked to us like old friends and made us feel right at home. The property (common spaces and room) was clean, secure, and well maintained. Our kids loved the garden/lawn area and the treehouse. Breakfast was a beautiful hand made spread. We only wish we could have stayed longer!!

The hosts were great and everything we needs was included in the room. Easy access and ample parking. It was so peaceful and quiet. Just what we needed for the weekend.

Everything I needed was provided for even during load shedding, wifi was still available. So peaceful and quiet and close to everything. Michelle the host was amazing My home away from home, lots of memories made here❤️🥰 Will definitely come again and again

It was by far one of the most extraordinary and beautiful stays we ever experienced. Every little corner of Daniela & Willie’s lodge & garden is carefully crafted with so much attention to detail and love poured into it, that it instantly felt like a warm welcoming home where you keep discovering more details everywhere you look. Above that Daniela & Willie are the most relaxed, flexible and welcoming hosts and above that passionate cooks! The breakfasts were an absolutely delight and our Christmas meals were extremely delicious, of a great variety, beautifully presented and a feast of flavors! We couldn’t have wished for a better Christmas eve and Christmas Day stay! Our three teens (19, 19 & 16 y) loved it there too and enjoyed the animals and lake next to everything else. A definite highlight of our 3-week South Africa trip!
