Mountain views are offered from this Whistler resort. Free WiFi is included in all public areas. A café is located on-site. Whistler Village Ski Resort is 1.5 km away. We had so much fun staying in the Yurt. It had a bunk with a full or queen size bed on the bottom. Then a twin trundle across the room there were three of us. It was spacious. There was a nice table with four chairs. The room was completely clean and it was an easy walk to the bathroom with showers. That was also spotless. The staff was very kind and helpful. They had a little shop at the main desk in case you need to buy food or drinks. There were many people camping in RVs, which surprise me because it was snowing outside, but they all seemed happy.

Whistler was lovely very busy on Friday and sat night life was great by Sunday very quiet and calm ,trails easy to walk around bakery’s lovely great coffee shops and 2 grocery shops everything you need , toilets are all over place so no worries there and water stations too, parking easy if need to park car and pay by machine , things were just great
In the winter, obviously skiing, but it can cost a lot as that is high season. But in the other seasons there is down hill mountain biking, a ton of trails for hiking and cycling. There are several golf courses and lakes to visit as well. There are also quite a variety of restaurants in terms of cuisine and pricing.
A must see if you plan going on to BC! We stayed in June but if you are a skier, I'm sure this is a bucket list destination. Walking around the village is pleasant with tons of places for drinks and nibbles. Look out for Happy Hour where you can get some great deals on food & beverages. Dog friendly if you want to take your fur baby. The gondola ride is a must!
Whistler is great. So much to do. We hiked up for an overnight at the Watersprite cabin this time which is always a fantastic trip. Don’t let reviews of the road scare you, it’s totally doable in an SUV just take’r slow and easy.
Whistler is like the Italian alps crossed with Las Vegas. The stunning nature is made accessible but only by the sprawling, grey, characterless complex of buildings and theme park like pavements and amenities. I liked and appreciated both the tacky Americanism and natural beauty. Nowhere on earth have I experienced so many drunk Australians. Heaps of fun. Seems like a great place for kids.
Everything about Whistler is amazing. The Peak to Peak lift from Whistler Mtn to Blackcomb Mtn; golfing, horseback riding, etc. The valley trail means you can bike or walk absolutely everywhere in the village.
