The swimming pool is clean, relatively large, and in a really nice garden. Be aware that the garden might not always be available to you (check below for more details). I don't know whether what happened to me was an exception or the rule on Fridays. One of the main holidays of the year was coming up. It's possible that the pool and garden being reserved for the owner family memebers was an exception. Dinner at the hotel in the garden was very expensive (triple what you would pay outside), but good quality food and healthy (contrary to outside food). The owner of the place speaks french and seems a good man, although we did not speak much. Air conditioning in the room works well. Also the bathroom applicances work well (can't say the same for the rest of Algeria). The owner arranged contact with a good guide at a reasonable price. That was very helpful! Be aware that the owner charges quite a significant fee for each service he arranges for you with guides (from 30% to about 100% of the guide price). I think this is to be expected. If you don't have a guide yet, it's good that you pay the owner of the hotel to recommend one, but then it's better to cut the middleman in planning any further activity.
