Boasting sea views, Loft near the BEACH features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and a terrace, around 400 metres from Playa la Maretas. We had an amazing time at this apartment during our workation with my friend. The place was very clean, and the location was perfect – just a 2-minute walk to the beach! Communication with the owner was super quick, and he was incredibly helpful and friendly. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful, making it perfect for focused work. Although there are no shops or bars in the immediate area, they are just a 10-minute walk away, and buses are also available. The biggest highlight for us was the fast and reliable Wi-Fi, which worked perfectly for work and calls. Highly recommended!

San Isidro is a sleepy town in the South of the island not far from the airport. This is where the locals hang out and is therefore cheaper to shop there than in the popular resorts. It's a good location if you have a hire car, as the nearest big resort (Los Cristianos) is just a 20-minute drive by car along the TF1 motorway. The town has a local bus station which gives access to most parts of the island as well, but we had a hire car which was very convenient for getting around. Parking in San Isidio was no problem on the side streets. There is a local seaside town not far from San Isidro called El Medano. It's a nice place for a meal and a walk around the small town and beach. All in all we were very happy with our stay in San Isidro.
We stayed here in an emergency as our flight was cancelled during the Air Traffic Control crisis. There is not a great deal to do in the local Area. But you can commute via taxi or bus to the next village of El Medano
El Medano has a great atmosphere with a busy restaurant lined square with lovely winding streets with shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants. It has some excellent restaurants, particularly La Gula and Naife. Both serve excellent food and wine and offer excellent value for money. It's hard to beat Playa Chicas for lunch on the terrace. The atmosphere is amazing!
Nice place near small Vulcanic Montana Roja with fantastic not overcrowded beach with bar....you can make a trip to mountain Roja, I recommended as a must, swim, drink and eat on beach and observe sunset... What is a negative is a big building in construction but without progress, no workers or machines were here during our stay, god for us. It´s really terrible construction near protected area Roja mountain. I can't understand how government can allow to build such ugly building near small apartments in which we stayed and in localization like there it is.
Los Abrigos seemed like a genuine Spanish working town. There were restaurants aimed at tourists but they were used by Spanish as well as other nationalities. The food offered was locally sourced (mostly fresh fish) attractively presented. The beaches and parts of the town were fairly rustic and undeveloped - which we liked. There are sandier beaches with loungers etc in better known tourist resorts. We preferred what Los Abrigos had to offer.
Not central to Tenerife’s main area but public transport is cheap, accessible and reliable with only a short commute from the airport. It has all sorts of amenities and quite if that’s what is desired!!
