Set in the heart of Manchester International Airport complex, DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Airport is walkable to each terminal or just a 5 minutes’ drive away. Fabulous quiet surroundings. Was easy to find and plenty of parking available. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was very clean and warm. Food at the restaurant had a great selection on the menu. Although I wasn't travelling with animals was fantastic to note that they do cater for pets as well. Breakfast selection was varied and plenty available. Oh and the welcome cookie was delicious not sure if that was an every day thing or because it was the holiday period .... nice touch either way.

Comfortable clean room, wide beds and proper sound isolation that made me forget it was close to an airport, with all the amenities of a chain hotel, within a clearly labeled path from the Manchester Airport Rail station, even if it was a short stay i can highly recommend it if you have a flight to catch, with quick access to all three terminals 24/7.

I had a great night's sleep despite being close to the airport. The window blocked out any traffic. The double bed was super comfy. The shower and TV were easy to used. I've stayed in a Budget Ibis before and they don't provide a kettle with tea, coffee and milk in the rooms so I was pleasantly surprised! I liked the continental breakfast options available. A choice of cereals, croissants, bread, ham and two types of cheeses. Fruit juices and hot drinks available also. he check in and check out staff and the room cleaning attendant were lovely too.

Exactly what you need from an airport hotel - close (walking distance) to the airport, pristine, functional and comfortable. Great a/c, good power in the shower, comfortable beds and good lighting. And the total bonus is a wonderful Turkish restaurant downstairs - and a very good one. Easy check in and out, busy but all lifts working promptly. Will stay again.

Lose to the airport, we had no issues with noise when trying to sleep.
