Great accommodation and help with getting food. 5 mins drive from airport. We arrived at 12.00 and asked the owner what we could do in the afternoon. Within an hour we were trekking to remote farm, eating freshly caught fish, visiting traditional village houses and swimming under a waterfall. The guide was excellent.

Toris and his family are the most genuine and kind people I have ever met. I felt like family only 24 hours after arriving (as a young solo traveler who has never been to Asia). They constantly showed me around their island. Toris also taught me how to surf in only a few days & his family taught me how to cook Indonesian style! I 100% recommend getting the full meal package, as all meals are home cooked and delicious! The location is perfect, right on the beach & only a couple minutes from the touristy areas of the island. Toris is one of the best people I have ever met & I will never forget my time spent here. I am already looking forward to coming back!

Super lovely staff caring really, really much about every wish. For us as a surfer/non-surfer couple, this was the perfect accommodation as Hima offers great surfing lessons and rentals, but also provides accommodation where you want to spend time at itself. Our expectations towards the bungalows itself were met as it is 1:1 as the pictures, but the staff exceeded our expectations :)

Nias Frank Accomodation se encuentra en Lagudri, a pocos pasos de Playa Sorake, y dispone de zona de playa privada, habitaciones libres de humo y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. We had the best time with the Wau family! Such amazing people and great hospitality - always had great chats with Frank and Titus. The location is as good as it gets with a view of the spot and a minute walk from the keyhole. Our room had everything we needed. We would come back for sure!

Very nice, friendly, relaxed vibe at Jamburae Lodge. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the garden area is beautiful, the breakfast was delicious with good variety of options, and the dinners are fresh and delicious. Lagundri Bay is all about the surf, and this is the perfect place to stay. If you don´t take your own board, they have a decent variety for rental. The best thing is that they have a private a little pier that lets you paddle directly to or back from the break, or there is a keyhole in the reef about a 5 minute walk for a shorter paddle to the lineup. All in all, we loved our stay at Jamburae and highly recommend.

New Raya - Nias Beach Bungalows está en Lagudri y ofrece vistas al mar, jardín, zona de playa privada y terraza. Todas las unidades tienen baño privado totalmente equipado con ducha y zapatillas. Beautiful location-peaceful compared to the rest of Saroke, but a 3 minute walk to Keyhole. We loved the hammock on the porch - stayed dry even in the rain! Comfortable bed -air conditioning worked best with the bathroom door closed and a fan to circulate air. Perri and Anni, our hosts, were available to help make any arrangements (driver, scooter rental) we needed.& provide us with water if we asked. There are several good places to eat, our favorites were Hello Sunshine for breakfast & Soushie restaurant. The pace of life is much slower than the USA & it was a wonderful respite from our usual life. Anni is a wonderful cook and prepared dinner for us twice while we were there. Truly felt like family!
