WiFi was working very good (they have few different ones). 2 swimming pools with view on the sea, and the breakfast was sensational. Hot water in the shower. An open wardrobe so you can easily store your stuff. We were there while they didn't have other guests so it was super nice.

The bungalow was very spacious and well decorated. The terrasse was amazing and it was a really pleasant to sit and eat breakfast there. The breakfast was well served and delicious! The owner is very kind and helpful, she helped us get a scooter as well as a shared taxi to Moni. It is pretty close to beach, where you'll find a nice restaurant located on Sea World resort. It is not close to center of Maumere, but it didn't bother us at all.

Sea World Club Beach Resort & Dive Center has a garden, private beach area, a shared lounge and terrace in Maumere. Beautiful location right on the beach, and under palm and coconut trees. Very kind and helpful staff, they help us to change our flight ticket from Maumere to Ende as the airport is closed. The best Indonesian food restaurant we had in Indonesia during 3 trips. Very delicious food and very tasty...we tasted many on the menu and we were never disappointed. Very good breakfast (pancake, eggs, fruits, toast, jus...) Our cottage room were very comfortable and clean. Very good snorkeling on the left side of the beach and also we recommend the day trip Snorkeling with the hotel. At the end, big thanks to Alfred the manager for his help and kindness. He took us to a day trip to very authentic Flores village, one of our best experience in Flores. If I go again to Maumere, I will stay there again in Sea World Beach Dive.

The Sleepy Lagoon Beach House is set in Hitokalak. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The house was in a great location right on the beach. The bed was comfortable and the small fan provided inside the bug net made it cool to sleep. Loved having a small kitchen with refrigerator to keep some snacks, beer and to be able to make tea. Hammock on the porch was the best! The bathroom was nice and I loved the outdoor shower. Fredh, the caretaker and point of contact, was great! He arranged for food to be brought over every night for dinner and was just a short walk up the beach if I needed anything. I loved being able to swim and snorkel right out in front of the house and got to see a bunch of starry night octopuses out hunting in the seagrass when night snorkeling! I did have a motorbike that I had rented in Ende and it made getting there very convenient.

It’s a beautiful place, you have an incredible beach in front of you when you can do snorkeling between corals. The homemade food is delicious, breakfast the best. Hidden gem in Maumere; the bungalows are facing the sea, food is great. Claudia, the host, is very helpful and friendly; she’ll take you diving/snorkeling instructor great spots. And you can enjoy amazing sunsets from the property. I definitely recommend spending as much time as you can at Happy dive retreat!

Set in Maumere, Cassabonelly features water sports facilities. Featuring room service, this property also has a restaurant and a terrace. The inn has family rooms. A bit outside of Maumere (about 20-25min by bike, 30 by car), so nice and quiet except directly on the road so there was traffic noise. The fan in the bedroom was nice for keeping airflow but just wish we had another blanket (we could have asked earlier but at night there were no staff around). The staff were super nice and helpful and moved us to a better room. Online only the deluxe double (room with 2 double beds) was available but there were rooms on the water with just 1 double bed so maybe WhatsApp them for availability as opposed to booking online. Not many people around so the staff close up around 6pm unless you’re eating dinner. Not much for snorkeling that we saw, but maybe if you swim out a bit. Right on the shore is mostly rocks. Beds: had a mosquito net if you are into that. A little too soft for us but great pillows and clean and comfortable. Bathrooms: Hot water! Like super hot. Our first true super hot shower in a week! Great water pressure and clean and nice. All around a great stay along our journey around Flores. Great sunset spot!! Beautiful!

Facing the beachfront, Eco dive resort Alycastre offers 4-star accommodation in Maumere and has a garden, private beach area and terrace. Beautiful place with different bungalows - joglo style. Like a museum full with antiques from Java and Bali. The restaurant area is made from bamboo and is gorgeous. The food is worth a Michelin star - Virgini makes all herselve and makes a huge effort to put every day different dishes on the table - all picture perfect and delicious - the diving is amazing and Anton has the best macro eyes ever. We are experienced divers - 32 years - and are living in Indonesia - we have been diving all around Indonesia and were happy to see the underwater condition around pulau Pamana are still good. We made 13 great dives - even encountered 7 white, black an a silvertip shark. Which is amazing since the shark population - although protected - is still under attack on a daily base. We hope the shark population will get more protection so that these apex predators can restore the balance in sea and ocean. Anton is a real Aquaman and knows so much about the underwaterworld.
